Ch. 175 Underworld

Lonely.

Silent.

There was no sound as if it was the middle of the night, and all the creatures in this world were fast asleep. Aria also felt the same way because she slept soundly without any sound waking her up.

But a vibration and a strong gust of wind against her skin awoke her, and her eyelids fluttered open.

Dark.

That's what she saw as if she still hadn't opened her eyes. Aria blinked a few times while squinting her eyes to search for any light in vain.

Thinking she had gone blind, Aria whined frantically and almost made a sound if there wasn't a hand holding her mouth. His embrace was firm, immovable, yet gentle as if he didn't want to hurt her.

Even though it was faint, Aria could still smell the very distinctive scent of Lyod from the hand covering her mouth.

After confirming that Aria would not make a sound, Lyod grabbed Aria's hand and wrote something on the skin with his other hand.
