Ch. 372 The Truth Before Michaela Came

Aria found herself unable to breathe as if chains were binding her entire body tightly. She felt a force draining her strength and enthusiasm for life when she witnessed Lyod's death.

"It's not real," Aria muttered, trying to convince herself.

Aria took a few breaths to ease her heart's agitation. She knew what she saw was just an illusion as a form of testing, but it all felt real. Aria stared at the door leading to the third chance with a furious look.

"What kind of trial is this? If I save my eldest son, my youngest son will die. If I save my sons, my mate dies. I don't see the meaning of this test!"

Aria was sure that each trial had its own meaning and purpose...at least, that was how Aria felt during the eight different trials.

However, she did not understand the meaning and purpose of this last trial and what kind of results she had to give to pass this last mission.
