It has been three days since I started my journey, and if my map is correct, I should be not too far away from a village. I managed to kill three wolves and five rabbits in the past three days. The wolves were an accident because they decided to introduce themselves to me with their teeth when I grilled some rabbits.
I did not have any choice but to kill them.
After skinning them, I cut the meat into pieces, salted them and smoked them overnight. Now I have a lot of meat for me to enjoy and sell to the village if they want it.
"Hmmm?"
I frown a little when I see smoke rising into the sky. That is the direction of the village on the map. I quickly order my horse to run toward the smoke. Bloody hell, why do I have this much bad luck?
~Fifteen minutes later~
After fifteen minutes, I can see a group of twelve riders burning the village down, and some of them even r@pe a woman who is crying her eyes out. I grit my teeth and activate the Rune on my body. I can see all of Rune shine before suddenly a longbow made of blue light appears in my hands.
I can see the weak point appear in front of me, and a second later, I fire the arrow. A few seconds later, the man who r@ping the woman fell to the ground, dead.
I can see the other Dothraki shout something, but I ignore them. A few seconds later, another arrow flies and hits its target head-on and just like before, another Dothraki falls down. After the second shot, the Dothraki finally saw me.
I shot two arrows quickly, but the Dothraki managed to hit the first arrow this time, but he did not see another arrow I shot at him. I can see five of them coming at me with their horses and holding their swords in hand.
I know that I cannot beat them head-on, at least not five against one. I order my horse to run in the opposite direction and keep firing. With the help of the Great Hawk Rune, I can predict their movement.
I released another arrow, and this time, the arrow hit the ceiling of the Dothraki's mouth. Another arrow released, and this time, it hit the neck. The third one hit Dothraki's eyes. I want to kill the fourth one, but my horse is an old one. It cannot run faster than Dothraki's breed horse.
A few seconds later, the two Dothraki arrive next to me. I quickly jumped from my house and saw the Dothraki's sword sliced my horse clean.
I grunt a little and take out my sword from the sheath. I take a stance and wait for the right time to strike. When both of them charge at me, I jump to the left and thrust my sword at the neck of the horse.
With the help of my weight, I manage to unmount one of the Dothraki and conjure my bow once again before killing him.
After killing him, I quickly conjure another arrow and fire it at the horse's knees, both of them. As the horse falls down, I quickly jump at him and stab him right in his skull.
I release a huge breath from my mouth and take the Dothraki's sword. I look to the left and see the rest of the Dothraki galloping toward me.
"Four hundred meters… Come on… Good"
When they are within my range, I fire my arrow, and to my shock, the Dothraki manage to move a little bit, so it does not hit its weak point. It looks like I cannot fire my arrows one by one.
I continue to fire my arrow in quick succession. The fastest I can fire an arrow is one arrow per second if I want to abandon the accuracy. However, by adding one more second, I can find my accuracy.
To my surprise, I could see my arrow travel at high speed and hit its target, but the Dothraki did not die with one or three arrows. They still ride their horses even when their bodies are full of arrows.
It looks like they are not ordinary people, unlike the previous one.
With the last arrow being fired, I quickly run toward the nearby tree and start to climb it. There are only three left, and they are bleeding from my arrow. I just a few minutes before they died from blood loss if I want to wait, but I have another plan.
After climbing the tree, I fired another arrow, and this time, it was a headshot.
"Two more."
When they get close, I fire my arrow, but I aim at the horse this time. The arrow pierces through the eyes of the horse, and I can see it moving around in pain and unmounting the Dothraki. I fire another arrow at the Dothraki that continues to charge at me.
I can see him dodging my arrow, but he is not my target. As he dodges, the arrow pierces through the knee of the horse. Just like the previous one, he falls to the ground. Seeing my chance, I fire another arrow and kill the Dothraki closest to me.
After killing the first one, I look at the second one charging at me. Even with his comrade dying in front of him, he is still charging at me, huh?
"I can respect that."
I shot him right through his skull. Seeing him dead on the ground, I released a relief breath. Today is the worst day of my life.
