When she got back to the apartment and closed the door, she was surprised when Jeanette came out of nowhere and dragged her away, "Come here. You got to look at this!"
She lazily follows behind her while her arm is being dragged by Jeanette, "Slow down, Jeanette, I don't think I can keep up. It has been a long day."
Following Jeanette to the kitchen, she sees Jeanette trying to show her something on the laptop.
"Just look," Jeanette told her, pointing to her laptop screen.
"Well, what is it," Samantha asked without knowing what was going on with her friend tonight.
Looking at the screen, Samantha didn't get it at first but then realized that it was a youtube video of the two of them playing the duets today.
"It's you and Jon," Jeanette says with a smile and her eyes melting into heart signs, "I didn't know he was such an amazing pianist. Where is a guy like this hiding all this time?"
"This is me?!" Samantha said back with an equal amount of surprise as she watched the video's viewers increasing steadily at an unbelievable rate.
"Yeah, the video went viral online. It already has over 10 million views," refreshing the site again, the numbers jumped again, "No changed that, it now has over 20 million views. This will break the ground for the top 10 most-watched videos on Youtube in 24 hours."
"What?!" Samantha is now too surprised to say anything while looking at her and Jon playing in the video.
"Not only that, the video is high quality," Jeanette commented with admiration, "in fact, you can't possibly take such a high-quality video of the sound and graphic without some expensive gadgets recording this."
This isn't anything too surprising to Jon that a video of them playing these songs would be this popular since their pieces in the duet that afternoon were all classics in the world he came from.
Especially, bringing these songs into this world will shock the world and draw much attention.
"And can you guess who this video is recorded by," Jeanette asked her, playfully scrolling down so that Samantha could see the channel's name: For Samantha.
Seeing those words instantly made her realize it was probably Jon who was behind this all, and she couldn't help herself from smiling at how Jon had now pulled another surprise on her.
Scrolling to click inside the channel, she finds a video posted on the track just recently under the name For Samantha.
She clicks into the video to see what it's about.
In that video, which is slowly playing, she sees Jon sitting by a grand piano with the chandelier light shining down from the middle of the room, and he is dressed in a simple black suit.
In the video, Jon speaks to the camera in his confident voice filled with magnetic charm, "With this song "For Samantha" I hope to dedicate it to someone I love."
Slowly the camera moves to a view of Jon playing a light melody of the song from Beethoven's Fur Elise with its feathery notes flowing into her ears.
Each note falls perfectly, so light, so gracefully from his fingertips.
Each note combines to describe almost a longing the pianist feels for somebody with all the emotions in his heart.
"Wow, that's just so romantic," Jeanette, who doesn't even understand classical music, still can feel the song's composer's love for the girl to whom this song is dedicated.
Once the song finished, she could see Jon stop his fingers' movement on the keyboard as the video came close.
Turning her head to look at Samantha's reaction, she could see teardrops falling from the corner of her eyes.
"Samantha," Jeanette asked, surprised at how touched her friend had become upon hearing this graceful melody.
Samantha reacted upon her name being called and realized that there were soft droplets of tears and wiped those tears away.
Jeanette always thought that this kind of romance only existed in the presence of the screens of a television screen.
But now that such a romantic possibility is presented in front of her, she loses the knowledge of how to react.
Once Samantha finished watching the video again on the computer, she suddenly heard a message sent to her phone.
Looking at her phone screen, she finds it is a message from Jon:
I didn't believe in fate
I didn't believe in destiny
But then you came
Carrying a heart
I couldn't understand
Breaking through
My deepest fears
Giving me hope
To love again
In a thousand lifetimes
In a million possibilities
I will not lose sight of you
Forever loving you
Upon reading those words, the tears in her eyes came breaking through as they slid down from the corner as she thought about that mysterious smile.
He always has that mysterious smile whenever he notices that she is looking at him, without saying anything else, without saying another word.
She always wondered why he had never spoken those words to her, she could feel the clear feelings through his eyes, but he would never say those three words, which she could feel from the depth of his heart.
"That's so cute," Jeanette comments upon reading that message from Samantha's phone, "gosh, you two should just get married. I really can't stand seeing you two playing lovey-dovey in front of me anymore."
Hearing that, Samantha giggles to herself and gives her a light punch, "Stop. You are ruining the moment here."
They share a laugh as they exchange a knowing glance with their eyes before Jeanette heads off, "Alright, I won't be bothering you now. Take a bath and get some sleep soon. There's still a long day ahead of you tomorrow."
"I will," Samantha said back while still reading the poem to herself with a deep smile, reflecting the happiness that she felt inside.
She remembers the afternoon when they played in the city and ate a simple meal just as the sun was setting into the sky.
All those things struck into her heart and broke through the coldness stopping her from looking at the world in a positive light before.
