Chapter 14

Rodger nodded and crossed his arms after I finished explaining how I had found the boys and that the girlfriend was still missing.

"Shouldn't you call your friends now?" I nodded.

"I was about to when you showed up and thank god you did." He gave me a nod and sighed then we almost jumped out of our skins as the two boys ran towards us with a squeal!

"It's Bella Donna!" they jumped around excitedly.

"So cool," The quiet Aden whispered.

"I wish dad was here, you and the Banshee are his favourites in the ring." Bella laughed and looked down to the two boys.

"Oh my, what handsome kids!" She lent over to look them in the eyes and they grinned. "They have stunning eyes!" Kaden nodded and pointed to his eyes.

"We have the same eye colour as our dad…" He sighed. "Do you have an action figure too?" Rodger nodded in thought then looked to Bella. She giggled and shook her head.

"Not at the moment but I'm sure Rodger here can fix that." The boys looked at each other and grinned as they peered up at Rodger.

"I'll see what I can do." He gave me a chuckle. "Market research at its finest." Kaden sighed and played with the Banshee in his hands.

"I wish we could take a picture... But Lisa had the phone…" Rodger looked to Bella and she nodded.

"I have a phone too you know." Bella waved at Rodger.

"Dad, take a picture." He pulled out his phone as Bella knelt down to pose with the boys, one to each side. They smiled like maniacs and held out their Banshee action figures and Rodger smirked.

"Got it." He turned to his computer and switched on his printer. I turned away and pulled out my phone and flicked to Jenny's number. As Bella signed the printed copies of the pictures I waited. After what seemed like an eternity Jenny answered.

"Sorry girl." She sounded heartbroken. "We're still out investigating. But it seems like we've lost five members of our pack today. Three warriors and two boys." I frowned.

"Two boys?" I questioned and shot a glance as the group giggled happily.

"Yeah, look, can I call you back?"

"Wait, would this be twin boys named Kaden and Aden?" There was a little gasp.

"How'd you know that?"

"There with me right now." I heard a strange noise part squeal, part growl and part WTF filled with excitement, confusion and delight. My phone began to beep and I looked down, Jenny was face timing me. I answered and she looked at me her big blue eyes red ringed.

"Tell me this isn't some bad joke!" I rolled my eyes.

"Hey you two." The boys looked up and I waved the phone at them. "Someone wants to talk to you." They ran over and giggled in delight.

"Hi auntie Jenny! Is uncle Mathew with you." My face fell.

"Wait uncle Mathew…" Roger frowned.

"The guy you were having coffee with?" I nodded.

"He's the Second Beta of the local pack." Bella blinked in surprise.

"The Swift Runners?" I nodded and she stared at the boys. "Fuck… they're the Alphas sons." Rodger smirked.

"Making friends in high places, are we?" I watched as they tried to show the action figures over the line. "So," Rodger stood up and walked to his desk. "What do you say?" I looked at the piece of paper he was handing me. It was my consent and legal documents about the action figures. I saw the boys grinning as they hadn't put them down. I looked at my chest and regretted the low cut of the dress that showed my ample cleavage. I knew my boobs were bigger than normal I just hope they weren't as big as they seemed on the action figure.

"Fix the tits and your fine." I read through the paperwork and with a shake of my head signed. Rodger air pumped in victory then filed the paper away. He turned to a laminator and ran the photo's through for the boys. With a smirk he shrugged.

"This way they'll last longer." I nodded then remembered I needed to ask his opinion about a thought I had.

"Rodger... you know when Rose died." He sighed.

"Yeah car accident. She was so promising too." I frowned.

"Was that before or after I stopped fighting?" He rubbed his mouth as he thought about it.

"You know, now you mention it... it was two days after your last match when you said you were taking a break." I nodded.

"And then the pink fighter turned up a few days later." Even Bella had put two and two together and found six.

"We're missing something..." She whispered then glanced around as the boys still giggled and talked happily on the phone. "You think that Rose was mistaken for the Banshee?" I nodded.

"Why else would you take a title from someone? You just look like an idiot when they turn up unless you thought or knew they weren't going too." Rodger nodded.

"I'll look into this, but why try and steal the Banshee name in the first place?" We shrugged but that answer still eluded us.
