Chapter 30: SHOULD I TELL HER

Abhijeet made Akansha sit on the sofa and then walked towards his room to bring first aid box.

He then came out of his room with first aid box.

Abhi. I am fine. No need to do first aid. Said Akansha.

You got hurt because of me. So, don't talk and just let me to do it.

It's okay Abhi. You didn't mean to hurt me intentionally. It was just an accident.

This time, he placed his finger on Akansha's lips and said, "Please Akku."

Then, she nodded, as she agreed to it.

Abhi took a cotton and ointment from the box. Then he held her hand to wipe the blood using cotton. Later, Abhijeet applied ointment over it and wrapped the bandage around her palm.

Now, this looks fine. I guess, it will heal soon. Said Abhijeet and got up to go to his room.

Akansha stopped him by grabbing his hand. He turned back.

She hugged him tightly and said, "Thanks Abhi. "

He pulled away and held her shoulders. Don't say thanks, Akku. I did it, because I love you. Said Abhijeet and kissed her on the forehead.

I know you love me and there is no doubt in it. I am sorry Abhi. I really didn't expect such thing to happen yesterday.

Today I am going to take my time and talk about our relationship. Said Akansha and was about to leave.

Akansha, actually there is one thing, I want to tell you..... He stopped and thought. Should I tell her about Raj? She is already worried. I don't want to make her worry more. So, I'll tell her later.....

At Akansha's House

Akansha entered her house and went straight to her.

She freshed up herself and changed her dress.

Later, she came out of the room and went to the kitchen. Mom, where is Dad? Asked Akansha.

He had tea and just left a minute before, you came. Replied her mom.

Okay mom. Said Akansha and was about to leave. But, her mom grabbed her hand. Akansha, what happen? How did you get hurt? Asked her mom in a worried like tone.

The thing is, I was walking way back home on the road. A stone was lying on the road, where I was walking. I didn't see, so I slipped and fell down. Answered Akansha, feeling sorry about lying to her mom.

Are you okay now? Asked her mom.

I am fine. Mom. Said Akansha and making her way out of the kitchen.

Akansha, wait...Are you happy with your Dad's decision? Asked Pramila.

She turned back and continued, Mom, right now. I don't have an answer to that question. I have to meet Dad and talk about it. I'll leave now. Said Akansha and left the kitchen.
