The Separation

*BOOM*

Saber's sword came from over Bruce's head like descending comet. The explosion shook the very building, causing Bruce to be sent to his knees, and cracks formed on his spear. With Saber being in an almost unconscious state, he did not heed his servant's warnings as he went for the kill.

But, just as some irreversible damage was about to take place...

Bam!

Aegon appeared in Bruce's location and sent a kick toward Saber's neck, sending him flying. Bruce's mouth formed an O shape when realizing he had almost died once more, while Saber regained consciousness and exited his enlightened state.

Tsk!

Saber clicked his tongue in annoyance. His eyes had shifted back to his human form while he began walking toward Aegon.

Soon, the teacher approached Saber, Bruce, and Aegon with clear apprehension. Even if she was the so-called instructor, in front of the trio in front of her, she realized that she had nothing to teach.

With this in mind, she ordered the other students to head back to class while gesturing for Bruce and the humanoids to follow her.

Weakly following behind since he did not have any energy remaining, Bruce was akin to a little kid who had just gotten scolded by their parents. He was, for the first time, well-behaved and did not have any arrogant thoughts.

"Don't worry, we are just built differently!" Aegon said with a bright smile. Neither Bruce nor the teacher knew how literal that statement was since the humanoid duos weren't actually humans but instead True Lifeforms. Saying they were merely different was an understatement.

Anyway, soon the trio appeared in front of a massive and imposing door.

"Please be well-behaved when entering inside, the person there is a Star Immortal cultivator and the principal of this school!" The teacher said quietly, almost in a whisper.

Thereafter, the faces of the trio changed, their expressions froze as Bruce felt his blood stop flowing, the humanoid duo on the other hand felt their blood boil in excitement since they were probably about to meet someone of equal or even higher strength than them.

The doors suddenly opened, revealing a room where darkness was omnipresent. Walking inside, the four was then greeted by a flash of bright white light. The darkness disappeared and a middle-aged man with silver hair reaching his shoulder came into view.

His eyes were also silver and they seemed to peer into the secrets of the world itself. Saber and Aegon immediately knew that this person was somehow leagues above their current strength even if they were to take on their True Forms!

Simply because they were unable to win, it did not mean that they would lose, in fact, they guessed that only Immortals were quick enough to be able to land a hit on them, so with this reason in mind, they weren't at all intimidated by the eyes of the man.

A mysterious smirk formed on the middle-aged man's face when seeing Saber and Aegon. He then turned his gaze toward Bruce and immediately after, his eyebrows knitted. Bruce felt as if his secrets were laid bare in front of the man's eyes, but he quickly recomposed himself.

"Okay, I already know why you are here. Yes, these three will need someone else to teach them, and in fact, I am willing to be their teacher." He said.

Thereafter, he gestured for the teacher to exit the room. Hurriedly, she did so, as he then exhaled a breath of silver air and disappeared from his position.

Swoosh!

A fist penetrated Saber's chest. Yet, Bruce watched on in shock as it turned out to be an afterimage as Saber's body appeared in a different location in the room.

Right after, what seemed to be the same right fist penetrated Aegon's skull, and again, Bruce was left dumbstruck as Aegon appeared next to Saber while he let out a yawn!

"As I suspected, you two can already enter the Gates Of Hell." The middle-aged man said. Bruce's mouth formed an O shape since his eyes showed the scene of two principals smiling toward Saber and Aegon's location.

"NANI?!"

Bruce shouted at the top of his lungs. His loud ruckus caused Saber to click his tongue in genuine annoyance, and for Aegon to give a bright smile. The principal then shifted his gaze toward Bruce while he said.

"You'll train with me for a few years. Whereas, next week Friday, Saber, and Aegon will be sent into a Gate of Hell." He said.

Shock...Bruce's skin paled even though he wasn't the one entering the so-called Gate of Hell.

"Why does it have to be such an edgy name?" Saber asked while appearing next to the principal with illogical speed. Thereafter, Aegon also appeared in front of the principal since he realized Saber asked an interesting question.

Humph!

"You will see when entering. You'll be going in with a few of my very own disciples. I hope you do not drag them down, since even I may have trouble facing any one of them in a serious fight." He said. This caused Saber to knit his brows. Thereafter, he stretched his hand out and gestured for the principal to shake it.

Not sure why, but the principal still did so. Right after, Saber began exiting the room as he said.

"Aegon, let's go. And mister principal, it'll be okay for us two to not appear in school till next week Friday...right?" Saber said when reaching the door of the room.

"Yes." The principal said with a smile while nodding his head. Gazing at the duo who were leaving, he then shifted his attention toward Bruce while saying.

"You have a long way to go if you ever want to keep up with those two monstrosities." He said with a dark expression on his face. It seemed he was able to see something inside the duo that caused him to become like this.

What was confusing was, if Saber and Aegon caused such a dark expression to form on his face, then why would he place the two alone with his disciples?

.

.

.

"Why are you so hurry to leave?" Aegon asked. He wanted to head into the training rooms so the duo could have a sparring session. Yet, Saber prevented it.

"Because, if what the principal said is true, we will need to begin serious training now!" Saber said commandingly. He then contacted Leviathan, so that he could see the principal's stats.

This was the reason why he shook the hands of the principal, one must know, that only when he touched someone, is only then will he be able to see their stats.

[Title: Master. Principal. Star Immortal. Half-Step Immortal]

[Bloodline Awakening: 100%]

[Abilities: Light Manipulation]

[Suppressed Strength: 276,000,500]

[Note: This human cultivator has long run out of his talent. Unless this human acquires some kind of heaven's treasure, he'll remain withering away for another +98 million years of life]

Thrum!

"Huh?! How did it take so many years only to reach this power level?" Saber blurted out in surprise.

"Master, when one enters the half-step Immortal realm unless one has heaven-defying talent, one will slow down immensely.

This is the beginning of the separation between the so-called geniuses, and the true geniuses of the galaxy and by extension, the universe!

This is a world where random side characters will never enter as every being who has reached the Immortal realm has multiple trump cards!"
