Unknown Reason?!

And, if you impress me to a satisfactory level, I will reward you all..." Chained Saber said before disappearing in bright light from the sights of everyone present, along with him, all other Sabers and even the two cloaked men were also enshrouded by bright lights as they disappeared.

*Boom*

*Rumble*

One can hear a massive explosion that violently shook Planet Petit to its very foundation. The ground was cracked, and pieces of it were falling off from the tremors. Dust and smoke billowed up everywhere, blocking everyone's vision of the sky for several seconds. The noise died down as suddenly as it started as the dust settled.

All five hundred million residents of this high-level planet stood still, shocked at the massive quakes and shockwaves. No one knew how long they stood there in silence before a few people began moving again. What caused this explosion that was powerful enough to shake even the other side of the world? No one knew.

(Saber Location)

The sight of a large crater where the capital city of this world once stood was the only thing that could be seen for a few hundred miles of dried barren land. Buildings were shattered and scattered around, the only sign of this planet's short human beings, being the occasional corpse. They looked like little more than charred pieces of ash on the road.

There was no sign of life or any signs of civilization. Only rubble was left behind. Bodies, limbs, heads, and all sorts of body parts of men and women were ripped and scattered all over.

All except for one. A man lay face down under a piece of rubble with his right arm twisted out from the rest. He had been crushed beyond recognition by an unknown force.

The man had only sustained three broken ribs and two lacerations to his back. A woman lay flat on her back not too far away; she must have been knocked unconscious when she fell over. Her arms and legs were completely twisted around so she couldn't move.

She also didn't seem to breathe. The man gazed sadly at the sight of his lover's dissected and lifeless body, as he then shifted his gaze which contained hate toward the skies where flashes of light were becoming more and more apparent.

*Boom Boom Boom*

*Crash Crash*

In a matter of mere moments, the world began to quake again. Dust and debris rose in the air as debris fell from the sky onto the planet below.

"That wasn't supposed to happen!" Branden said in distress.

He was standing above the wreckage, staring upwards with wide eyes. He turned his head, taking another look at the destruction around him. "There has to be something we can do!" he added. "I am going to take care of this problem!" The voice of Elissa resounded in Branden's ears as she appeared next to him.

A red aura began to envelop her figure as she raised her hand toward the skies. A ball of flame burst forth from her palm and headed straight for the dark clouds, and the figure of Saber. As the ball of fire approached, it expanded into a huge sphere, expanding to a size comparable to the now-ruined city as it radiated an intense head.

A heatwave ran across the remains of the ruined city. It slowly began to rise until the whole world began shaking again. As the sphere rose higher, Branden saw that the top was a gaping hole, looking like a huge crater.

"Is that what I think it is?!" Branden asked incredulously.

"Yes, the annihilation flames." Elissa weakly said as her skin pale and she lifelessly fell to the ground.

Branden gritted his teeth in sadness as he knew what this flame entailed. The user will be sucked dry of their lifeforce to strengthen the properties of the flame. But, at least now, that abomination Saber would face his inevitable death.

Boom!

The flames detonated in the skies as Branden felt somewhat less wrathful at the sight of the abomination's death.

"Why do you seem relieved even when you're about to die?!" Saber's voice entered Branden's ear, causing him to be left in a stupor as his mouth formed an O shape representing his current feeling of disbelief and fear.

(A Few Minutes Early)

"Have you finally decided to show your true colors, Saber?" Branden asked the chained Saber who appeared in the throne room of this planet's king's castle. Elissa stood there with disbelief written on her face as her eyes became watery. She was trying profusely to refuse the possibility of Saber truly being evil and her enemy, but Saber's cold aura and thick killing intent made this pipe-dream of hers that...nothing but a dream to escape from the truth of reality.

"Show my true colors? You act as if I have hidden it from you. Mind you, it wasn't I who pretended, but you humans who let your imagination run wild!..." Saber's cold words caused tears to fall from Elissa's eyes as the eyes of the rest of the group flashed with a deadly light. The castle suddenly began shaking as the auras of the five Immortals began expanding...

"If I was you, I'll call all of your clones..." Branden said in a dark voice that held clear anger. Saber only smiled after hearing this, his eyes changed color and entered his elemental state while his chained hand slowly gripped the handle of his katana.

"My clones, as I have said before, they are not my clones, but instead they are other lifeforms. For example, simply because they look similar to me, it does not mean they are me. Similarly, simply because I have the same appearance, it does not mean I'm Saber. Besides the true originals, we creations have all forgotten who the true original is since all of us are technically original while we aren't original either..." Saber said.

His gaze then lit up while he slowly unsheathed his sword; the aura of the room turned more deathly as one can feel as if there was a scythe at their necks. "But, aren't you five way too relaxed. After all, you have been with me for several months, and you have a fair idea of the strength my body contained, along with my sword insights, don't you want to be more careful and less arrogant?" Saber asked.

Humph!

"There is a massive difference between the mortal realm and the Immortal realm that we are in! Do you think a mortal like you can understand the power of an Immortal cultivator?" Branden's wife said in a somewhat arrogant manner, causing Saber to let out a frown on his expressionless face.

Saber then, with a monotonous voice along with eyes filled with indifference, said to Boden's wife.

"A massive difference you say...? You see, I don't think there is much of a difference between mortal and Immortal cultivators, one simply has more power than the other, I am pretty sure you're not even truly Immortal, yet claim to be something you aren't. You people are so arrogant despite being the ignorant ones..." Saber said.

And as his words landed in the ears of Branden's wife, his sword was completely unsheathed, and the two Immortals of the group who had yet to speak to Saber had for unknown reasons disappeared and reappeared next to Saber, causing Elissa, Branden, and Branden's wife to be left in confusion.

"Huh?!" Branden uttered in confusion...
