Stellar King

HAAAA!!!

A loud bellow would escape his mouth, as with two blades facing the night skies, he would slash all the way downward, sending two lines of Sword Intent straight forward.

These two lines would travel straight forward, before then curving upward, and begin heading toward the skies...

Toward the path of the descending flaming bird!!

...

...

...

As the two attacks were about to collide...

In a display of speeds that neither Saber nor Liam, were able to perceive, the Stellar King made his glorious appearance!

And now in the path of two attacks, the Stellar King outstretched his left palm facing the flaming bird, while his outstretched right palm faced the two incomings streams of Sword Intent.

BOOM!

As the smoke from the explosion soon cleared, everyone present would be left in shock when the figure of the Stellar King who tanked both attacks simultaneously, was left perfectly fine..!

"What!!?"

Saber uttered in confusion.

This unknown man had not only stopped Liam's attack, but also his very own full-powered flames...

'Is he some contestant?' Saber would think internally. Leviathan replied, "No, it seems that the quota has been reached. Any more deaths or injuries to his champions would lessen the chance of him being able to raise his rank in Human HQ."

Words that Saber was yet to fully understand, ringed in his mind. The Stellar King floating in the skies had a wide grin on his face. While stroking the little beard under his chin which intensified his middle-aged features, the Stellar King would say to the contestants standing on the water.

"Congratulations for lasting to the last five." While floating to the water below, he continued...

"As ordered by the Lord ruling over this side of this great Galaxy, we will set off to the home world of the Great Lord where the many other participants across this Galaxy would be...

Where a great tournament would take place that would work as a qualifier to represent this galaxy in something truly great."

Now standing in front of Saber, he continued, "I couldn't have the two arguably strongest persons in this group, to go on fighting and possibly killing one another. Your way of doing things, after all, isn't exactly cut out for mere sparing, isn't it, Saber Blade..?"

The Stellar King said to Saber while referring to the many contestants he previously killed.

Clenching tightly, were the fists of an angered Saber, who wanted nothing more than to devour that arrogant Liam.

But, he calmed himself.

If anything, he'll simply wait for the next competition to begin...

After all, he had realized that this tournament arc was extremely long and seemingly ever-lasting.

But he didn't care as in fact, he enjoyed it.

Meeting new and interesting people who possess incredible elements then, of course, devouring them and acquiring such elements for himself.

He had grown interested in the Sword Genius and wanted to devour everything that made up Liam's existence, causing a creepy smile to surface on his face as his eyes observed every nook and cranny of Liam. This made Liam have an uncomfortable feeling.

"Okay, enough talk, let's get going!" He said while snapping his fingers. Immediately after, unknown energy would wrap itself around Saber and the others, as their vision would turn dark for only some moments before...

...

...

...

"Where is this!!?" Spade, Ash, Liam, and Saber would utter in confusion at the same time. Only the quiet Dawn, would remain silent, as they all awaited the response of the only person who could clear the many doubts running through their mind.

It had taken less than a second but, the group who were once present in the body of water found that they were now in totally new surroundings.

They appeared in a thirty-meter large room, and even though this would be fairly big in a normal world, as Immortal Cultivators, they would have surely seen much bigger rooms throughout their lifetimes.

In front of the group, were 15 figures who had stood from the thrones they sat on, and then bowed in the direction of the Stellar King, who stood in front of them.

"Welcome, Great Stellar King!" They all simultaneously shouted. Saber would be left shocked when he saw the man who previously rendered him and Dawn incapable of combat respectfully kneeling to another being.

Tsk!

And he was angered by it.

'To so willingly kneel at another lifeform. What a disappointment...'

He would say in his mind.

The worst part which angered him was, that this person had previously been able to completely overwhelm him in the past.

Sadly for him, he would eventually find himself in similar shoes, not too far in the future.

"You may disperse..." The Stellar King said, as right after, the fifteen figures disappeared.

"And you five, well, we're heading to the Lord's World, so take a seat..." He said while pointing at the thrones that were on either side of the throne he mysteriously appeared sitting on.

Not wanting to annoy this man who could so leisurely order people that were of equal strength to their own, Dawn and the others sat on the thrones next to his which majestically floated above all others!

Even Saber needed to use logic and sit respectfully. He had already known that he wasn't a match for this Stellar King.

And, as they took their seats, a tight strap, almost resembling a seat belt, appeared as it wrapped around their bodies in an instant.

Out of nowhere, and hovering over the Stellar King's palm, an orb releasing a white glittering light appeared. On his free left hand, a black metal-like staff appeared...

The orb floated over the staff, as a brilliant light enshrouded the whole room, momentarily blinding the group before, a robotic voice resounded in their minds!

"Master Xavier... Where would you like to go?" Materializing next to the Stellar King, Xavier, a chibi female of transcendent beauty, made her appearance.

"To the homeworld of the Great Lord of course...!" He said with visible excitement and a beaming smile.

Watching all this playout would be Leviathan who snickered at the level of technology unfolding before his eyes.

While Ash and Spade gazed at Xavier's little chibi assistant with longing and shock, Liam only raised an eyebrow in surprise.

Dawn remained stone cold as always, while he tried to not draw too much attention, and Saber had his arms folded with an impassive, unimpressed expression on his face.

He who had Leviathan, the Pinnacle of Androids, could rightfully snicker in his mind when watching Xavier who acted all mysterious after the little female android made her appearance.

The room in which they were located shook, as the walls and floor seemingly disappeared, startling all except Saber, who had Leviathan explaining everything that was and would transpire.

What appeared in their vision was an infinite dark space known as the Dark World, as even though they didn't see any visible signs that they were moving, they felt it...

They felt the movement of this room, as unknown to Liam, and his allies, this little Interstellar ship was moving at speeds of hundreds of Lightyears per second!!!

To understand this, one must know that one Lightyear rounds out to about 9 trillion kilometers.

To travel hundreds of trillions of kilometers per second, the speed was unimaginable to the minds of normal mortals.

But, this was simply what was needed of a ship to possibly traverse the great universe...
