Birth Of The Undead Army (4)

The life of a Litch was much different than others. Especially its comprehension of a mysterious element that made it possible for them to revive the dead. It was an element that the Universe and even the whole of Existence follow.

Reincarnation...

Similarly to nothingness and chaos that evolved into primordial chaos, reincarnation was one of those elements that transcended supremacy.

At this moment, the concepts of reincarnation forcefully merged with primordial chaos inside Saber's consciousness as two transcendent elements met for the first time inside one form of existence...

At this time, something inside Saber was given birth to. Inside the countless celestial bodies that were in Saber's bodies, many of them formed life for the first time. Creatures that Saber hadn't ever seen before were created.

They died right after anyway. But, this cycle continued... What seemed to be billions no, an unimaginable amount of time passed and the creatures eventually survived slightly longer.

One second.

Saber's consciousness awakened. His body trembled as it radiated with a dark silvery purple light!

...

...

"What is this..?"

A humanoid figure with a rabbit face ate popcorn while gazing into the screen that showed Saber's body as it couldn't help but show an utterly shocked expression.

"What is this madness... primordial chaos of the gods and now this...?!"

Thrum!

Mumbling nonsense, the rabbit felt its heart palpate with excitement. Its figure was short as it fell off the seat and onto the cold floor. Its crimson pupils couldn't help but shake violently as it watched the monster slowly getting up to his feet.

"Now this... can't it now contend with nothingness...!" It asked no one exactly as it closed its eyes and tried staying calm. "With this discovery, wouldn't he be the key to defeating those Void race bastards that prevent God from uniting our **** and raising its level to a Higher ****?!"

As it said certain words, its voice went silent. It didn't seem like he intentionally did it though, more like it happened naturally.

Sigh!

"But, it's best to watch from the sidelines. When he reaches the Third Floor, I'll send a test that others shouldn't be able to pass."

"If he does, then it's obvious he'll be able to become an Abyssal Creator existence and much more. After that, I'll be rewarded by God for my splendid work in raising this weapon against the Void race!"

Thrum!!

...

...

This...

Adrianna sensed a terrifying premonition overtake her senses. Saber's figure slowly stood to its feet with its eyes still closed yet, a mysterious ancient and incredibly scary aura permeated the air. This figure with long white, black, and purple hair reaching his calf, placed his palms on his face.

Ahh!

"Have I been played? Shh! Right now they probably see and hear too. Well, let's see." Turning his face, he opened his eyes, showing Adrianna, on his right eye was a purple sclera and black-colored star shape pupil while on the other was a purple sclera and white-colored star-shaped pupil.

"Come here." He ordered, gesturing for Adrianna to approach. Yet, Adrianna's body didn't move...

'Why? I tried helping him...? Why do I feel as if I'll die if I approach him...?' On the other hand, Leviathan suddenly voiced. "Saber? Are you still Saber..?!"

A smile appeared on Saber's face, "Of course I'm Saber. If I wasn't him, who would I be?!" He then stretched his hand and ruffled Leviathan's hair. Though he was an android, he was the most evolved of them all. His left eye unintentionally closed creating a cute scene. Even Adrianna couldn't help but think, 'Maybe I was simply overthin-!'

"DEVOUR!"

As his words fell, the pupils of two others shrank. Many emotions spiraled out of control but, the most dominant one was complete and utter shock. What the hell had he just said..?! A dark silvery purple aura, seemingly, as if it had always been there, coated Leviathan's body.

Before he could even put up a resistance, his android brain which was artificially made to quickly calculate and come up with conclusions instantly arrived at an answer.

Who was Saber...? An absolute monster capable of killing anyone or thing, even harming himself to gain his goals. Was he truly led on the nose due to some kindness that he received from Saber, well, anyways, he was created to be Saber's servant so, it didn't matter...

Adrianna, on the other hand, had long reacted to this scene. The bad premonition in her heart was flaring right now as she didn't care, she used all her energy to rush out of this city. Even if it seemed like an impossible task, she needed to escape.

So what if she loved Saber, it wasn't as if she would kill herself for him. She only acted soo obsessed due to him being unable to kill a vampire like her... well, at least, she used to think like this.

"Tsk, Tsk, Tsk... Oh, Anna, what are you doing?" Saber suddenly smirked. In front of him, Leviathan's body had already been devoured by his dark silvery purple energy. In his mind, many things took place as knowledge he didn't understand but moments after comprehended, appeared in his mind.

"If you truly loved me, you would happily die for me." Saber said calmly. His steps were light and unbothered as he slowly walked on the same path Adrianna was rushing out of the city. And even though she was rushing out of the city, her figure didn't seem to be moving at all.

No, she felt herself moving, yet it seemed as if a mere meter in front of her was lightyears away. It was something that she understood all too well as one of Saber's many abilities to manipulate space and even though she hadn't previously seen him use something like this...

What she had understood, ever since the fifth floor was, the moment Saber devoured something or someone, he was able to showcase more abilities.

"Love is an obsession. An unbearable obsession that would cause you to do something stupid simply due to this thing called love." Saber paused, his figure appearing next to Adrianna's, as he then said...

"Anyway, why don't you allow me to test my new power? With this, I can finally say that you Adrianna, is obsessed with me. You'll listen to my every command and I'll finally lower my guard in your presence..." Closing his eyes, he breathed in, and said, "Wouldn't that be wonderful..?"

Adrianna's eyes contained nothing but rage. If she could, she would have already squashed Saber's face. He was clearly crazy and obsessed with everything being under his control. If one would die by stares, Saber would have died countless times over from her dagger-like stares.

"Why..." Adrianna uttered, "He would listen to all your commands, so why? Even I, no matter what you ask, I'll also listen to everything you say!" Tears streamed down her face.

Wasn't this the end? All the memories she had, the desire to become the strongest, or to spend the rest of her life with the man she liked, all this was about to be destroyed by this same man.

Saber's face suddenly turned cold.

"It seems you've got yourself a massive misconception, I've not changed. I was always this way, and it was your fault for falling for me. As for the reason why I devoured Leviathan, to be honest, it was always going to happen. I always wanted to do it, I simply was unsure if I'll actually gain anything from devouring a non-living entity."
