Monstrosity (6)

At a certain level of cultivation, one wouldn't even realize it and a breath of time for such a cultivator would be tens or even hundreds of years for mortals!

Hah!

Slowly descending from a few feet above ground and landing on his feet with a gentle tap, Saber once more opened his eyes whilst realizing rays of multi-colored light.

With a wide grin on his face, Saber mumbled under his breath. "Who'd have thought directly comprehending Primordial Chaos would give me a benefit like this?"

Stretching his muscles even though there was no need for such actions, Saber then waved his right hand in the air while pressing down the air with his left hand...

Boom!

Multiple muffled explosions occurred in an instant. Hundreds of millions of kilometers away from the mountain peak, in Saber's eyes, a massive rocky mountain had broken apart and formed into a large rocky sword.

At another location, a certain left palm appeared. This palm was large, hundreds of thousands of miles large...

Thrum!

Covering the skies with one hand... Saber's gigantic left palm descended from the skies, flattening anything and all things below!

A large crater was the only thing that could be seen for miles. This crater was no different than an abyss that seemingly lead to the depths of hell...

Fwoosh!

A sword parted the winds and rushed toward Saber's neck. As if always on guard against it, Saber's body automatically dodged.

Xiu!

Evading the sharp curved blade, Saber's eyes met with the owner of the sword strike which chopped at the winds and almost slashed his neck apart.

"What are you doing..?" Saber asked. Standing ten feet away from him was another Saber with similar features. The only difference was the sword in his hand.

"You know, and I know. The fastest way to improve the sword techniques isn't by cultivating but by fighting... Take out your sword!" This Saber shouted.

Smirking, a sword exited Saber's now unconcealed chest. Glowing under the sun, it seemed to have been made from glass as it was nothing short of dazzling.

"I hope you can somewhat compare." Saber said. "Humph! I should be the one saying that!" The other shouted as they blurred in synchronicity.

Almost a century had passed since he began comprehending Primordial Chaos, and his benefits were high.

During that time, a second Saber was created to focus on infusing all the elements into one sword technique.

So while Saber may be more powerful in terms of using Primordial Chaos, when it came to sword moves, the latter Saber had the upper hand.

After a couple of hundred clashes of the swords, the two had flashed all across the mountain peak as by now, it was impossible to tell them apart.

One Saber wielded a sword while the other wielded a sword. Two Sabers clashed with all the intention to kill.

Unknowingly, veins bulged around their eyes while the concept of time slowly began to be diluted. Unconsciously, time had begun to pass at great speeds.

Each sword strike seemed to travel through the space slowly, barely inching toward the other sword but, before one could realize it, sparks caused by the two weapons colliding would be sent flying into the surroundings.

The weapons moved at a slow speed... Or they moved at such a fast speed that what was left was an endless amount of phantom images that coagulated and formed one extremely slow-moving image.

Their attacks had long transcended the time flow of the third floor of hell, bending and destroying the fabrics of space, and warping toward one another.

So while they clashed in the physical world, their swords also collided in the void even as their bodies were still present on the third floor.

Though this shocking scene took place, neither of them realized it. Both exact copies of the other had veins bulging around their eyes and were stuck in their state of enlightenment.

Anything happening in the outside world was too foreign for them to perceive as slowly, more and more, each of their strikes became more powerful.

They had both reached an equal level a few instances after the battle began, and now they were simultaneously merging their sword arts with the recent insights in Primordial Chaos...

Insights that, after just short of one hundred years, had reached an incredibly high level... Reaching the Pinnacle of the Golden Immortal realm.

Yes, in terms of comprehension in Primordial Chaos, Saber was now comparable to a Pinnacle Golden Immortal who had comprehended their element to the highest state before the Prime Immortal level..!

The figures of these two also began to move. In instances, they flashed all across the mountain peak that spanned hundreds of miles, and then made their way.

From the mountain peak, down the mountain, and away from the mountain range as they appeared in a desolate wasteland. Hundreds of miles, thousands of miles, millions of miles per second.

Before one could blink, they appeared a couple of tens of light years away from the mountain range. And once more, they disappeared and reappeared hundreds of light years away.

Yet, it was hard to tell which of them are the actual duo. After all, wherever they appeared, what was left were two figures clashing swords.

So quickly that they left their past selves and unconsciously created clones stuck in a timeframe. Unknowingly, this also added to their speed of cultivation.

Neither they nor these newly appeared clones had perceived what was transpiring as they continued clashing swords.

Time passed. The more time that passed, the faster the essence of the multi-colored lights contained in each sword strike would merge.

Before long, only devastation remained. As far as the eye could see, there were endless space cracks in the skies and large tornadoes.

The blue sun had been destroyed millions of times into fragmented meteors which were also destroyed by the sword strikes.

Two beams of darkness traveled through the third floor. Wherever they went, sometime after, the space would break apart.

Even as the third floor tried to reform itself, it still had trouble in doing so. Hence, the moment the sun had reformed, and the skies had healed, it returned to its previous state...

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!

Explosions rang throughout. Somewhere at the other end of the third floor, two figures saw these scenes, both with a different light shining in their eyes.

In one figure's eyes, the light of interest and amusement brightly lit up its crimson orbs whereas, the other figure had a pair of eyes shining with cautiousness and trepidation.

The figure in the skies countless light years away wasn't someone normal... This person wasn't merely the one responsible for the deaths of all Golden Immortals on this floor.

To Alvis, he didn't care about any of that. But, what caused the trepidation was the glaring fact that soon, according to the words of the figure next to him, he would be facing this... this thing in a life-and-death battle...

"This..." Alvis stuttered as his pupils shrank slightly.

"Monstrosity, a true monstrosity... How long has it been and he has already reached such a level."

Cultivate!

He still needed to cultivate. He turned his back and approached the endless sea with only one desire... Strength! Raise strength faster!

'Luckily, with the Lord of Hell's Tower present, that monstrosity wouldn't come in contact with me now, so I still have time..!'

Sighing to himself, he calmed his nerves and closed his eyes, re-entering the state of secluded cultivation.

He was determined...

The next time he reawakened, he'll already have broken through, right..!
