1,000 Years (2)

'I've comprehended all the mysteries of the Ancient Universe which, upon my death, made it so that this origin, with the laws of the ancient universe, also birth life and became a Universe.' Oblivion thought, frowning...

'If I hadn't died, it wouldn't have even formed into a Universe due to the restrictions of the Ancient Universe. But, once I'm reborn and the Ancient Universe recognizes that I'm a living being, the universe inside me wouldn't be a universe any longer.'

Once Oblivion and Saber became Pure-Heart, all living beings would be forced to enter the Ancient Universe where they'll then be erased. Of course, this was if the two were able to resist the natural laws of Void and Deities being enemies.

Otherwise, there wouldn't be any rebirth, and everything will remain as it was...

"So you want to be reformed after being erased?" Seeing through his desires, Oblivion still questioned Orion in the case that there was something else. But, Oblivion had guessed right, seeing through everything.

"Yes, this is my only wish. To earn enough merit for this, I split my soul and descended to the lower realm to form this Heavenly Mystic Domain in hopes of you entering. Though the chances of you even entering the Heavenly Mystic Domain were slim, there were many other places in the Universe like this...

"And even if you didn't stumble upon those places, the last resort was the Eternal Tower but, by the time you enter the Eternal Tower, you'd have already come in contact with your other half, and either one of you would have died, ruining everything!"

Orion respectfully replied to Oblivion as the latter nodded his head and trotted off. His steps were light as he walked in the direction in which he came when chasing after the city lord. Following behind respectfully was Orion, and two utterly shocked beings.

These two were Cecelia and the brown-haired man she was previously speaking with. They had been left in a weird place as they were now told, not directly but, they had come to know they weren't real beings. Whatever they knew, what they understood, it was all merely at the origin of some ancient being.

The said ancient being was right in front of them. The said ancient being would soon be reborn, and they'll soon be wiped out of existence as if they were never there before. This, it was too much, too ruthless, too...

Ah!-

The brown-haired man opened his mouth. His voice cracked as he felt his dao heart slowly crumbling whereas, Cecelia who had spent some time listening to Oblivion's philosophy pre-reawakening of his memories, was coping a little better.

After all, she was a little open-minded to the idea of not existing. Now being told that she was never an existence, she had a hard time but still retained some semblance of a calm mind.

Buzz!

Swoosh!

Suddenly, an explosion of power shook the environment. The cave instantly exploded into debris as Orion moved quickly protecting Oblivion. On the other hand, Cecelia protected herself from the aura of the brown-haired fellow next to her as this man rushed toward Oblivion, killing intent flaring from his eyes.

Even a fool would understand why this was the case. With the knowledge he now possessed, there was one simple answer. Kill the grey-haired kid and prevent that madness destined to happen!

He'll save not just every being in creation as he knew it, but most importantly, himself. Even as Orion, a True Immortal was in his presence, he didn't care and instead rushed towards the figure of Oblivion with his fist already outstretched.

BOOM!

An explosion took place as Orion's fist clashed with the brown-haired man. Seeing this, Orion's face contained traces of anger and rage as he shouted.

"Why! You fool! Noah, what is the meaning of this...?!" Orion shouted. Though he already understood the reason, he still couldn't believe that this brown-haired man, Noah, would dare attack Oblivion while still in his presence.

"Why... Humph! Stop with the foolishness. While you will be saved, all of us, everyone will be reduced to mere remnants of the past. You care about yourself, and I care about my survival... What is so wrong about that?"

Noah's voice resonated with the environment as the destroyed cave, no, everything in the central region of this island trembled. The very earth was uprooted as if one were to be present outside of the island, they'll the previous multi-light-year island suddenly lost a massive chunk in the center.

"This is my World., Even if you're a True Immortal, I'd like to see you try to fight me inside my world!" He, Noah, was a Prime Immortal.

Not merely a Prime Immortal but the highest order Prime Immortal... Merely lacking a fraction of insight before he was bound to break into the True Immortal realm!

So even though the gap between a Prime Immortal and True Immortal was unknown, he was confident he could face a True Immortal... Much less one with a damaged soul.

After all, Orion needed to constantly be in a state of slumber after the death of his original body and just this fact was enough to boost the morale of a Prime Immortal.

The mass of the earth spanning countless miles formed into a large world trillions of miles in size as Oblivion's body trembled under the massive force.

Though his mind, soul, and consciousness had experienced force that made this seem like child's play, his body didn't experience the fight between Pure-Heart and the Ancient Universe...

In the face of the tremendous force of a Prime Immortal, even a being like Oblivion had no choice but to tremble under the massive pressure.

But, this pressure soon disappeared as a frigid coldness permeated the air... Cecelia had appeared next to him, her features still covered by that veil.

"You dare protect that thing!" Noah was angered by Cecelia's actions. At this stage, he was already reaching infinitely close to the borders of insanity. Yet, she remained silent, staring down at him coldly.

"You!" Noah shouted once more but, his attention was taken away by a palm that suddenly dispersed all the pressure caused by his world.

"Do you truly think that, in the face of a True Immortal, you have a chance..? And even if you did, I may be injured but my comprehension is still the same... You're courting death..!"

Orion's loud voice resounded in the environment. His deep voice seemed to be able to shatter stars as his hand descended onto Noah's body.

Layers upon layers of earth tried blocking the majestic palm, only to be destroyed in the process as Orion's palm unhurriedly made its way through any obstacle, and onto Noah's body!

BOOM!

Urgh!

Spitting blood, Noah felt as if his whole body would explode into the bloody mist from just this one attack as all his internal organs and bones exploded from the previous palm.

Blood spurted from his orifices as he descended to earth. But before landing, he regained some control of his body, staring at the skies with unwillingness as he prepared to send another attack toward Oblivion.

At this time, he was in a state of complete madness! Kill... Kill Oblivion!

Buzz!

But, before he could react, Orion had already appeared in front of him. His afterimage was still present countless miles away.

In the face of a True Immortal, everything was useless.

BOOM!

This time, it was Orion's actual palm that descended, landing on Noah's body. Before anyone had time to blink, Noah's head had disappeared. The force didn't stop there though as Noah's whole body followed thereafter!

Only crimson raindrops remained...
