Chapter 822- Surprising Results

Lind, Gel, and the wolf began to head back.  The young aether child girl had chosen to stay with the Shadowflame Clan. 

He had spent time teaching her and just talking as well.  She asked often if she was making a mistake but he told her it was her choice.  The Honor Master also swore to help guide her.

Lind gave him several jade slips that would help with an aether child but they were only lessons.  It would be up to her how far she would go.

She looked teary eyed when they finally left but he promised to visit soon.

"Will she be all right?"  Gel suddenly asked and he needed no hint about her subject.

"No.  She will have a long road ahead and the seeds of an unknown number of heart demons will have to be addressed.  How far she goes will be up to her, luck, and honestly how much she lets others help.  I speak from experience that letting people in is not easy."  Gel looked at him in surprise.

He just shrugged and guided them to the new lair.
