D*mn that Zayden, I knew he would run off on his own. I should of went with him, d*mn this human body that doesn’t have the stamina to match wolves. Matthew and the other pack members finally arrived an hour ago.


Matthew gave orders to find the Alpha and hunt down rogues or vampires wandering the woods.


I am following Matthew since he will know where Zayden is, more than likely with Celeste. This is my hope; I hope that she is okay. 


The ground underneath me rumbles; what is this energy? It feels like someone is pulling the magical power from the earth.


I stop running and look towards the sky; a flock of birds flies away from the northwest into the dark sky. I don’t like this; this energy is ominous. 


I pick up my pace and catch up to Matthew.


“Something isn’t right, Matthew; how close are we to finding Zayden?” I ask him.
