When they arrive at the dormitory, they both return to their room, and Leila collapses in bed.
She’s still tired despite her rest at Ezra’s home. Leila buries her face under her pillow and exhales.
“You going back to bed?”
She groans from her spot, kicking her boots off until they land with a thud on the hard, carpet flooring. She feels herself drifting off and soon passes out into another fitful sleep.
Hours later, Leila wakes and finds herself needing a shower. She grabs a set of clothes from her dresser and goes to wash off, refreshing her body and mind. After dressing and throwing her hair into a ponytail, she exits the room with study materials, leaving Hayley a brief note on her whereabouts for the day.
Her destination is the library. She would use the remaining daylight to study microbiology and write in her stress diary. She hurries to the library and finds a spot in a quiet corner by herself.
