A woman with her back turned to Leila stands there in a dirtied, red dress. Leila stares at the crying figure unsure of what to do. She calls out from her spot, “Uh, hello?”
She receives no response from the brunette other than more uncontrolled sobbing. Leila’s eyes narrow. She is clearly having another dream of sorts, and she wants nothing to do with it.
Leila rotates on her heels, but the woman stands right there in front of her, eyes gauged out. She startles at the sight and takes a step back from the entity. A pale hand reaches out from her side and grasps Leila’s shoulder.
She’s unable to move, struck with fear. She can’t handle another one of these nightmares. The woman opens her mouth and begins wailing a high-pitched scream.
Leila wishes she can cover her ears at the intense noise and feels her ears ringing as the screaming continues. She growls at the incessant sound and snaps bitterly, “All I wanted was some sleep, dammit!”
