Mikki Auclair, Princess of the Royal House pack, is part of a prophecy that says she’ll possess a great power as a Luna, once she marries on her 21st birthday.
Max Grosvenor is the Alpha that her brother, the King, chooses for her, since her other option was a dangerous man. One that could put the entire Royal Family at risk if he put his hands on her.
Max is also her mate, but when he doesn’t show any signs of knowing about the bond, Mikki thinks that he only offered himself out of duty to the King.

She opened her eyes, and immediately saw that she was back in her room at the palace. Only then, she knew how much she missed that place. Not that she wasn’t happy living at the safe house with Max. She really was. But the familiarity the room brought was peaceful, and she finally felt safe.


Mikki noticed that she was laid down on her bed, wrapped in a blanket she didn’t recognize, but wearing no clothes. She fell asleep in her wolf form, so she couldn’t have dressed herself up, but someone was thoughtful enough to protect her from any embarrassment, and she was more than grateful for that. 


Her skin was very dirty though, filled with mud and sweat. She got up from her bed, feeling her energy in full boost now. She went straight to her bathroom and turned on the hot shower, feeling the water fall on her back, relaxing her muscles.


She had never appreciated a bath so much like at this moment.
