Mikki Auclair, Princess of the Royal House pack, is part of a prophecy that says she’ll possess a great power as a Luna, once she marries on her 21st birthday.
Max Grosvenor is the Alpha that her brother, the King, chooses for her, since her other option was a dangerous man. One that could put the entire Royal Family at risk if he put his hands on her.
Max is also her mate, but when he doesn’t show any signs of knowing about the bond, Mikki thinks that he only offered himself out of duty to the King.

“Mikki, I didn’t think you were going to be so straightforward. I mean, she seemed to be pretty powerful, don’t you think? Weren’t you scared?” Fitz asked her as soon as they crossed the invisible barrier of the Enchanted Forest. 


Mikki could feel her cheeks burning with shame, but she didn’t look back once. She knew she had been very aggressive towards the Silver Witch, and she couldn’t even begin to explain what came over her.


“I don’t need someone to judge me now, Fitz. I’m already doing it to myself, thank you,” she retorted bitterly.


“Why are you being so rude? We’re all trying to help you here, but you don’t seem to want help,” Fitz scolded her, and Mikki bit her lips angrily.


“I know, alright? I don’t know what’s going on with me. I’m just… so stressed,” she explained. “I didn’t want to be rude to her. Or you. I’m just scared, Fitz. We came all the way here for nothing, I don’t know what to do,” Mikki choked on her cry.
