His Unexpected

"What did you just say?" I growl. My wolf is begging to take over but I can't allow him. I don't want to kill anyone and I'm not starting with a human.


"I said and what if I don't! Just because I'm not a wolf doesn't mean I can't fight. I'm a full member of this pack!"he narrows his eyes at me.


"Ken please,you have no idea of who he is,he's an alpha." Violet pleads tugging at his shirt.


"You want to fight? Fight me..." I flex my muscles and bare my canines at him.


He charges at me,I block his punch,grab him by his collar and throw him to the floor.


He hits the floor. Hard. Winded and groaning in pain, he struggles to his feet and staggers towards me, throwing a hard blow at my jaw. 


I taste a warm liquid. It's my blood! He is gonna regret this. My wolf growls  with full rage.


"Ken, please just submit to him... please." Violet pleads harder.


"There's no way I'm submitting to this dog!" Ken spits out and throws me a punch.


I roar at his defiance as I block his punch and grip him by his throat, smashing him into a wall.


"Still think you can fight me?" I growl. He struggles to get out of my grip but that only makes my hold on his neck harder.


"Ray please,let him go." Violet pounds on my back. 


"What is going on here?" It's alpha James. He looks shocked but soon understands what's going on.


"Ray,let him go." James voice is calm and I let him go. He gasps for air as Violet rushes to his side. I growl but she doesn't move.


'She should be cleaning us up! Not him.'


Let it go. I think that should teach him a lesson.


How could he do this? He claims that he's my mate but almost kills my boyfriend right in front of me. 


I rush to Ken's side when I hear a growl. I don't give a damn about him,he just hurt my boyfriend and now he's growling at me. 


"Violet go to your room." Dad says as Ray walks up the stairs. I help Ken get up and we both go to my room.


"Will you shut it? I think you've done enough." I give Ken a peck on his cheek. 


Ray walks to his room and bangs his room door. How childish!


Who does this guy think he is? Coming up here, claiming to be my mate and all that.


"Ken,I'm so sorry he did this to you. I didn't know things would get out of hand." I apologise as I use a damp cloth to dab at his injuries.


"It's not your fault,why are you apologizing?" He looks confused.


"H-he's my mate." I say looking away. I can't bear to look at him,the pain he must be feeling now. 


"Mate, but I thought you didn't want to be a wolf anymore, I thought you'd be with me forever." He sounds hurt and a tear escapes. 


"I'm so sorry Ken, there's nothing I can do about it. He's an alpha and he'll kill you the slightest chance he gets. Alpha's are very protective about their mates."I turn around and face him.


"So you're just gonna dump me, you're gonna leave me for that psycho,after everything I've done for you Violet, you're just gonna toss me to the trash, It's because I'm not a wolf isn't it?" He snaps.


"Ken...it's not that...I can't deny the mating pull,we can't be together anymore." I'm about to break down in tears.


"I knew it, you're just like the rest of them. If that's what you want no problem,go have your mate,You'll regret this,I swear." With that he leaves the room. The tears I had been holding in finally flow freely.
