Chapter 25: A Witch and A Vision

For the second morning in a row, Vivian woke with a pounding headache. Rolling over, the sun cascading through the sheer curtains, it took Vivian a moment to remember that she was in New Orleans, in Everett’s house, not in the room she had picked. Bolting up in the bed, Vivian looked around the strange room, unable to remember how she got here last night. Checking her body, she felt a slight relief over the fact she still had her underpants on, but nothing more.

A quick scan of the room confirmed that Vivian was alone. Pulling the sheet around her body, she pulled herself out of bed. Walking to the window, Vivian noticed a suitcase on the floor. It was Everett’s. Shit!

Vivian searched her mind, but it was blank, she couldn’t remember anything after they left the restaurant. For all she knew, she was one of those helpless humans who threw herself at Everett last night, and oh god! What if he accepted!
