It was a long night alone in the room, Ava wishing that Blair would have returned in the evening, but nothing. At times she thought about venturing out, talking to the others, but she feared her words would be twisted, and used against her by the council. After all, that is what Layla wanted by telling her to stay. Not to mention, Blair had already pointed out how jittery she was. She didn’t need the others noticing, or worse feeling it. Ava had been using it to mask how much power she had now, knowing they would be able to feel it. But it would only work so long.
