Chapter Sixty Eight

Mia's point of view

I woke up to the sound of the morning birds, Olivia was not on the bed. She convinced me to have a girls night with her yesterday, promising she will do the same with me next weekend and I agreed. Last night we watched a movie and had a lot of junks to eat.

I slide down from her bed, landing on my feet. I winced as my feet met with the cold marble floor.

Last night was more than I ever imagined, I kept shaking my head from left to right wanting to shake off the memories. Mr Dante witnessed Olivia and I crazy moments together, we were both singing and dancing in the hallway.

Suddenly I heard a loud scream and noises followed. Then a gun shot. The door to the room flew open with full force. Olivia stepped in, wearing her pajamas shirt and pants.

She crouched down, leaning on her knees as she breathed heavily. She was obviously trying to catch her breath.
