"Anyway, I think the handkerchief before on Ryan's hand was yours, wasn't it?" she said.
"Yes," said Eva.
"Then would you mind if I ask you how do you know each other? I know you guys are an old acquaintance. I thought to ask you before I ask him."
Continue,
An 'A' class sumptuous hospital cabin. There is a window in the east. The clouds are gone, and the sky is clear now. The wonderful full moon is now visible in the sky. Small clouds are playing around the moon on the chest of the atmosphere. The moonlight came through the window and reached the bed. The window curtains are moving in the gentle breeze. Nevertheless, it's hard to believe a while ago, heavy rain has driven them from pillar to post. Some fruits are kept in on over the bed table.
It's a little much for a little girl who was admitted here just because she fainted out of dismay. Where she should be flabbergast to see this luxury for the first time and eager about the bill, she is sitting in a fowler position looking at the windows and marveling in her thoughts. What is she thinking? Suddenly she heard someone knocking on the door. Ryan opened the door narrowly and leaned toward the room.
"Oh, your awakened?" He said and came into the room. "Can I come in?"
"Are you born stupid or did you have an accident in your childhood?" She said contorting her face.
"You little brat," he said angrily. "Didn't your parents teach you any manners?"
"Are you here to teach patient manners here?" She said. "Where is your common sense?"
"Is it how a patient behaves?" He said lifting one eyebrow. He sighs and said, "Whatever I don't want to dispute with you just tell me your address and we will drop you there. Your parents must be worried."
"I don't want to go home," she said. "You don't have to drop me. Just get out and go where you were going?"
Ryan got startled. "What are you..." He suddenly comprehended and said, "Hey, don't tell me you ran away from home and they are after you."
She looked away. Ryan made big eyes as he was aghast and couldn't understand what he should do so he forthwith ran to June.
"It's ok if you don't want to admit it but where will you go now because it's not preposterous to chase us here. Who knows if they are waiting outside to haunt us!" June said wearing a cold aura.
She is sitting on the chair beside the bed with her leg crossed. She is curious about her taking the wings. The cabin door is locked and Ryan is standing beside June. June though it will be precarious if outsiders find out about them.
"But I don't want to go home, please," the girl said. Her tears were filling up in her eyes. "They are not good. They killed my dad," her voice was squeaking.
"Who?" June asked.
"My aunt and uncle," she replied.
"Why do you think so?" June asked. "Why would they kill your dad?"
"Because they want the property," she replied. "They thought they would get all the property if my father was removed. But after killing him they learned that he already named his properties to me and my mother. My mother doesn't live in this city either does she knows about this. So before she comes back they want to use me and for that either they will kill me too or wait for legitimate the files."
Ryan sighs and said, "So it's the same property issue, huh?"
"So what are you planning to go now," said June. "We can drop you there if you want."
"I don't have any place to go now," she said.
"What?!" Ryan got shocked. "You can't stay here long you know that right?"
"I know," she said.
"So...?" Ryan said.
She looked away. She is nervous.
[June's POV]
{Why wouldn't she? Was she ever had to go out alone? I was afraid if she ever even went to buy cotton candy by herself. Just by looking at her lots of thoughts and emotions squashes in my head. She forced me to think about what would have happened if my mother had not remarried. Am I doing something wrong?}
[At Young house]
"Where are my children?" Said Mr.Young while sitting at the dining table for dinner. Mrs.Young is sitting beside him. After a long day, this is his only time to see his state of happiness. "Are they already went to sleep?"
"No~," Mrs.Young said. "They are not home yet."
"What?!" He said. "It's already passed 10.30 why aren't they home?"
"They are in hospital," she said. "I don't know what happened. He said he will explain once they are home."
"Oh," he said worriedly.
"Honey, I'm scared," she said holding his hands with a pair of teary eyes.
"Aish, don't worry," he said landing his hands on her hands. "Ryan looks fickle but he is a very responsible and thoughtful kid. If he is with her, he will take care of everything. He never lies to you, so if he said he will explain you should trust him."
"Hmm~" she nods.
*Ding dong* the calling bell rang. Mr. And Mrs.Young were stunned. A maid ran to the door thumping on the floor and opened it for them. As soon as they came inside Mrs.Young started searching and scanning with a worried face.
"Mom, we're ok," said Ryan. "Nothing happened to us. Don't worry."
"Then why did you go to the hospital?" She asked.
"Mother, we have a guest," said June.
Mrs.Young noticed a teenage girl possessing a divine radiant. She is plucky yet shy as she was holding June's dress and hiding behind her. Mrs.Young couldn't but admire her and embrace her with her warm arms.
[Next day]
[At Noah's house]
"I have been watching you since yesterday, why are you spacing out?" Said Noah. "I saw you and that parrot were talking something. Is she making trouble again which leads you to this tense?"
"N-no, it's not that," said Eva.
Last night was like a terror. Where Ryan and June were being dangled with that girl, on the other hand, Noah and Eva were being attached as they were following that man from earlier in the museum. Several thugs were behind him. So as they were behind him, they easily snagged their eyes and were caught off guard. While defending Eva, Noah's arm was stabbed. It wasn't so intense so the doctor released him in the early morning. Eva and Noah are neighbors. Owen couldn't sleep the whole night running here and there. So he went home. Noah's parents are out of town. Nobody's at home. The house is giving a serene and allure to the hearts after a long night. The sun is shining like a pearl in the shell above the sky leaving the limp drop of water at the brink of the leaf glistening on the lawn's weeping cherry. Chilled yet tranquil air is coming from the lawn, enough for the tired souls to make sleepy. In this beautiful domain, what is that trivial thought that snatches away Eva's heed?
"You know, whenever you say that thing it means the opposite..," said Noah.
"No, I..." Eva staggered. "Ah...by the way, where is Naomi?
"She is at Grandma's house on her vacation," said Noah.
"Ugh!! I envy your sister. How we used to enjoy our school..," she said leaning on the settee.
"Don't play tricks," said Noah sharpening his eyes. "Was she asking about you and Ryan?"
