The Unknown Entity

Darkness, emptiness, coldness, these were the words that came to Eclipse's mind as he took in his surroundings. The area around him was void of anything except for the distant stars and galaxies lighting up the sky.

Eclipse tried moving his body to no avail, as if stuck in a state of limbo. It wasn't until a few moments later when he looked down that he realized he couldn't see his body. In the place where his body should've been was a misty cloud made of glowing golden and white particles of light.

Eclipse continued to try to move his body, if he could even call it that anymore, for minutes on end to no avail. Accepting defeat he let his body float on its own, observing that it seemed to be drawn towards something.

Time passed by slowly as Eclipse drifted through the endless void of space. Seconds turned into minutes, minutes into hours, hours into days, days into years. This went on till time itself just became a concept to Eclipse. During this time Eclipse witnessed countless things that his mind could barely comprehend like planets that rained priceless jewels from the sky, life forms of various alien races, advanced civilizations beyond what humanity had reached, etc.

The longer and further he traveled the more baffling things Eclipse saw. He saw things that would drive any ordinary person insane like beings with powers that could only be described as divine, and entities that were monstrous beyond what words could describe.

After floating through the endless universe for an incalculable amount of time, Eclipse finally reached the end of what should have been infinite. The edge of the universe where beyond it was true nothingness. A place where not even the light from the brightest and mightiest of stars could penetrate.

This was a place where nothingness existed. A place where the laws of reality were discarded. A place where only endless darkness existed without light. A place that was truly INFINITE.

The sight of this would drive even those mighty divine beings and monstrosities insane, but Eclipse had long ago lost his sanity and mind. Thus silently and without resistance, he drifted into the cold and dark embraces of the endless void.

"How interesting, during all of creation… No even before creation I've only ever had one guest ever visit me here in my lonely abode in the past." An orchestra of various genderless voices spoke in harmony at the same time. These voices seemed to come from everywhere and nowhere at what seemed to be the same time, yet also seemingly different times simultaneously.

"It's a shame that unlike the last guest you can't keep your sanity in my presence. How I yearn for even just the sound of another voice in this desolate place…" The entity said in a one sided conversation to a motionless and mindless Eclipse. Seeing that this unknown entity wasn't going to get what they yearned for most they stayed quiet in the empty void making it truly silent.

After contemplating for an unknown amount of time a hand extended from the void. The power leaking from its presence was something else beyond the comprehension of even higher realm beings. The hand looked as if it was made from universes and realities woven together to take form creating the most beautiful thing to ever exist. However, though the hand was beautiful and vibrant, it also seemed devoid and lonely.

"If I do this, it should help alleviate my boredom and loneliness. And who knows, maybe next time we will be able to enjoy having an actual conversation together… What a wonderful dream." The unknown entity muttered to itself as it held its hand above Eclipse's form and poured some unknown energy into him.

Energy poured into Eclipse lighting up the endless void for the first time in all of existence. In the brief moment of light an entity of female humanoid form made from universes and reality woven together could be seen.

"It's a shame that it can't be anything but a dream…" The unknown entity whispered to herself as a single tear fell from her eye onto Eclipse before the light faded away completely leaving a void where Eclipse's soul once lay.

Total darkness claimed its rightful place once again in the desolate void. The entity fading back into the surroundings, back into solitude's embrace.

"System initiated, Emissary of #%>@$& activated." An emotionless and almost robotic voice spoke. "Creating host's new body… successful. Transporting the host to alternate dimension… successful. Restoring the host's shattered mind and broken soul… successful."

The moment the system restored Eclipse's mind and soul a light could be seen returning to his eyes. Looking around Eclipse watched as he went flying past galaxies and through dimensions faster than the speed of light, creating this blurred rainbow like astral scene around him.

He reaches out his hand and let it brush against his surroundings, stirring it like glowing rainbow colored water. Amazed by this feeling he never felt before, it then dawned on him that for the first time since he lost his body he could feel something.

Relishing this moment, it didn't take long for a bigger bombshell to drop on Eclipse. "Wait a second I have ******* hands!!!" Eclipse screamed feeling around on his body he soon realized he was no longer in an incorporeal form. In fact there were a few parts on his body that were new to him like a tail, horns, wings, and most importantly a more robust body compared to his former self.

Eclipse was shocked and started looking at his new body before something of the utmost prevalence came to his mind. "What about little Willy?!" He screamed as he reached down into his pants.

"Phew, still there." Eclipse sighed in relief. Just as he started to relax an unknown voice set him on high alert as it rang out inside his head

"Integrating skills into host." A robotic sounding voice resonated inside Eclipse's head. Right before he could even wonder what was happening a screen appeared in front of his eyes while the voice read off the contents out loud to him as they appeared in real time.
