A Gifts

It's been past six days since Asher's party.

In those six days, he kept interacting and playing with the three main heroines so his actions might add some seeds of feelings inside them, making his Quest easier.

He did the same for his family too, just making their relationship as a family more closer.

He's just six years old so he can't do much except that.

Anyway, about the three main heroine part,

How can he meet them? Much less, go outside when Eleanor is too overprotective of her family?

Because of her new trained guards and thoughts of making her child grow to protect themselves.

She really can't keep them inside in her home forever when there's still her husband's killer, whose still alive.

It's too dangerous for her children when they can't even protect themselves.

So she wanted to make them grow and have many good experiences on their childhood.

She already did this on her daughters childhood but since their incident of her husband's death, she never let them step outside again.

But as the compensation of halting their growth, she teach them with her own decades of experience.

Fortunately, for years of time, she let them go outside.

But the trauma of losing someone else isn't easy to forget so Eleanor send an dozen amount of guards to Asher and her three daughters that can kill an S+ monster if they all work together.

Hopefully, this will let them grow...

Also, during those six days,

Asher met a new side heroine yesterday, which is Luna's personal maid,

Daisy.

She's a really fun girl to spent time with..

Her personality combination of cheerfulness and seriousness make her charm, more special.

She's the type of girl that will lecture you about serious things and at the same time, the girl you will have fun to talk with because of her cheerful personality.

Eventually, with enough time, you will fell in love with her.

Sadly, her feelings will not be the same as you.

The reason? Unknown. She will just reject your confession and after that, she will keep avoiding you so you won't have a chance to talk her again.

That is the version of her in the game but what about here? What is she in the future?

But that will be different because he is with her in his childhood.

'What's with the heroines, so hard to conquer...' Asher sighed, he's really tired mentally in these past six days

He have to change his personality many times and have to speak that relates in those personalities.

If he's not a normal assassin, he might gone crazy in this crazy daily routines.

'I need to grow up faster...' He have to be an adult to do his final plans to make them fell in love with him.

He isn't going to take the initiative but them, he will make them.

It's part of the quest.

And that will be hard.

(Asher! I-I think something is happening!) Asher got interfered by the panicking message of Liliana.

''Is it your mistakes again?'' He asked with a disappointed tone. He's not surprise this time if it's her mistake considering on how many mistakes she made in this past six days.

Some are good some are bad but most are aren't that serious.

Well some did serious happen from Liliana's mistake but that's for the another story.

(No! Not this time-! Oh wait, I got an information send by the System.) She automatically calmed down after she got the information from the System.

She trust her mother very much.

''...'' Asher is silent... What's with her? If her host is an normal guy, he might have panic many times because of this girl.

(Oh, lemme explain the information that got send to me.)

(Your original guide is coming back. It's one day earlier but it's causing some problems in here because there can only be one guide...(Her last sentence seems to have a tone of sadness.

Maybe not because this is just a message.

But the message can tell the guide's true emotions...

But Asher didn't notice it and just treat it as a normal one.

''Oh... But can you still come here?'' Asher became silent for few seconds before replying back.

(Yes! I can but I won't stay for too long like my temporary position today.)

''That's great...'' Asher sighed in relief.

Liliana is a guide fun guide if you ignore her clumsiness.

She's a type of girl that will make your mood better if you talk with her.

Plus, she is Asher's one of few friends here,

So he is in relief when she still can visit him.

''Of course, so uh... Goodbye?'' Asher waved awkwardly.

He really doesn't know how to react or do things at this situation.

Being an assassin affected his social life so he's little awkward at this innocent goodbye without hiding or faking his interactions.

Hell, he doesn't even know how did he make Rose fell in love with him, when he's already assassin for a long time at that day.

And no, he didn't manipulated her instead, he act cold to her but he still doesn't know what makes her fell in love with him.

Well he accepted her confession when he's not enjoying his life but after some time, he fell in love with her so she became his precious.

He also enjoy his life a bit after that.

(Hehe... How are you so awkward at this when you can manipulated people?) She giggled a bit on how Asher is so... Awkward at this.

It's seems cute at her perspective.

''I don't know.'' Asher shrugged, completely not caring about it on surface but in inside, he pondered about it deeply.

What's with him struggling to this?

''Now I think about it, why are we doing this when you can just visit me after that Loli became my guide again?'' Though this farewell isn't entirely pointless, but Asher still asked.

''Haha, enough of that. Anyway, goodbye.'' Asher waved his hand on the air, waving in front of the screen.

It will be weird for someone I they saw this because all they can see is Asher waving at the air. By himself.

''I... I will.'' Asher agreed after hesitating a little.

He isn't sure at dealing that evil Loli...

''...'' Asher then waited.

He's pretty much excited at the [Shop] that's going to be added in his status.

Well the processing might take long so he decide to walk in the mansion for a bit, enjoying the beautiful scenery in the backyard or the front yard of the mansion.

After a while of enjoying the beautiful backyard, he decided to walk in the hallway of the mansion to find his mother.

He doesn't have to do anything so he decide to find Eleanor and have fun interacting with her.

He always find her at her office, where the duke suppose to be.

But his father is dead so his mother, Eleanor have to be responsible at this mountain of paper works from the whole dukedom.

So sometimes, it takes a days to finish it, making Eleanor very tired.

He then finally arrived in front of the office door where his mother is working.

He opened it and to see that his mother isn't here.

'Maybe she got summoned from the royal family or did she go outside to fix a problem in the dukedom? Or is she just in the living room or in her bedroom?' Asher thought the possibilities where did Eleanor go.

But he should check her bedroom before thinking she isn't home.

He then walked again from the long hallway to find his mother's bedroom.

After a while, he arrived at the door that is two times taller than him.

He open the door without knocking because Eleanor didn't mind it.

And he didn't find her here.

'Maybe she did go outside... But why didn't she tell me? Is it urgent?' Eleanor always tell him when she's going outside while acting dramatically thinking that her little son will be sad without her.

She kept apologizing to him that she will go outside and promising him to buy gifts and come home faster.

She always did that for years and never did she go outside without telling him.

It make Asher chuckle,

But this time, she did and it make Asher raised an suspicion

He then check his three older sister's bedroom and place where they mostly stay all the time when he observed them.

Amelia's favorite spot to stay is the Library and the Kitchen.

Evelyn's favorite one is the backyard and training ground.

While Luna's favorite place is in her own bedroom and his bedroom or Daisy's.

And all their favorite place, Asher didn't find them on those places.

While still walking in the hallway, Asher thought of something.

'Weird... Is something unexpected going to happen again?' He already experience it once when they all disappeared without a trace and his reaction was...

'Oh... It's going to happen again..' Asher have his suspicion but now, he's already sure of it! The fun is going to happen...

Well nothing serious is going to happen to him, he's just being childish here so why not?

'Maybe this time, it will be different... I should find clues about what surprise are they going to do to me.' Asher is taking this seriously.

He kind of enjoy this play too.

It's relaxing when you can do things without worrying about yourself or something else.

Anyway, the first time he got the surprise is the Christmas day.

He's four years old at that time.

Here's what happened at that day.

When he was done training at that night, he opened the bathroom to take a shower, to clean himself from sweats and dirt caused by his intense training.

It takes a while to shower but when he's done, he goes to his dressing room where there's a maid to help him dress himself properly with his dark blue pajama with some straight lines design on it.

After that, he goes to his mother's bedroom for bedtime story.

It's his daily routine.

He didn't find her, like today.

He didn't find his three older sisters too.

But this is the first time it happens so he became cautious. Very cautious.

He didn't let go his guard down even when he's in the mansion while looking at the servants in different way than usual but he isn't showing it to them.

He is very suspicious that something is happening at the whole mansion.

But he can't deduce it that his family is in danger because he just didn't see them here.

He's family is obviously a very strong one that only the Imperial family is superior to them in this Empire so he's not sure yet.

'Maybe it's just a prank?' Asher tried to deduce something possible.

'It's Christmas today... Maybe they are preparing gifts for me?'

'Are they trying to test me?'

'Are they trying to scare me and try to see what's my reaction?'

There's so many possibilities on what's happening right now but Asher is more sure about that they are preparing gifts for him.

Because it's Christmas!

'Let's hope.' Asher still have his composure, so he can think more openly.

He's just trying to bet at this possibility because this one makes more sense.

He then walk back to his room, he found nothing.

He just lay down in his bed and closed his eyes, trying to sleep.

After a while

He realized,

He can't sleep.

''Hah...''

He really can't sleep when he didn't see his family.

After that, he decided to go to the living room just to sit in the couch comfortably.

After walking for a while, he finally arrived at the living room just to get jump scared by his older sisters.

''Surprise!''

''...!'' It did shake Asher a little because he didn't sense them.

He then saw a confused looking Luna.

''Why didn't Little Ash look surprise?'' Luna whispered at Evelyn.

''Well he did if you look more closely, you can see his eyes widened a bit.'' Evelyn whispered.

''Oh...'' Her little brother might be almost immune from surprises!

''...'' Asher is just silent... But after looking at them, he notice that they are wearing Christmas costumes.

The three notices it and felt embarrassed but they explained it.

And their excuses was...

"It's because it's Christmas today, Asher! Though we know that it's your first time seeing us like this... Just ignore it if you felt uncomfortable."

After that Eleanor appeared wearing Christmas costume too but with a small skirt and black long stockings in her legs.

Anyway, they gave Asher gifts like they planned.

They had many gifts they prepared for Asher and they play with him so it became a long night for them.

And that's the backstory of his first experience.

'Maybe they are in the living room again... But what surprise is it? Maybe gifts again...' Asher thought while walking to the living room.

His birthday is already done six days ago and they didn't give him gifts, maybe they are going to do it now?

The walking didn't take long and he arrived at the door.

He slowly opened it, preparing for the surprise.

And he's correct...

''Surprise!'' This time four of them are here and they all wearing pajamas.

It's already nighttime.

Eleanor's wearing Light Purple Pajama, very seductive on her because it shows the upper area of her chest and the pajama tightly hugged her slender waist and smooth legs.

This makes her emitted an seductive and motherly atmosphere.

Black pajama for Amelia. Her body is pretty mature so she doesn't look cute and petite anymore and instead, it's very beautiful on her combined with her premium breast.

Light green pajama for Evelyn. Just like Amelia, her body is pretty mature considering their fast body growth and the pajama suits beautifully to her.

The difference on the two of them is that, she's emitted an atmosphere that she's an mischievous beauty and Amelia emitted a mature and cold one.

And the last one, Light blue pajama for Luna. Unlike the two of them, she's more into cute and petite one.

The light blue pajama suits her cheerful atmosphere, making her look more precious.

But overall, they all look stunning.

''...I thought you guys forgot to give me gifts from my birthday.'' Asher spoke when he still doesn't get his gift from his family in six days.

It's almost a week!

Eleanor and the others expected it and tried to reason their lateness.

''Well, we are preparing ourselves about it... But you don't have to worry now because here it is!'' Eleanor explained and handed Asher a big rectangular box that is wrapped carefully in plastic that has a design of red and white color.

It's a pretty gift.

''Open it.'' Eleanor said while looking at Asher with a happy smile in her face.

''Okay!'' Asher said excitedly while unwrapping the box quickly.

After unwrapping the box, he opened it and saw a sword.

It gives off an uneasy feeling.

(I really don't know how to describe the sword but I'll tell you that the blade's color is black, with a white straight line all across in the middle of the blade while the handle is black.)

Asher smiled.

''Thank you mom!'' It's a genuine reaction this time.

With these family's warmth that's giving to him, Asher couldn't help but feel guilty.

He didn't deserve this...

But he quickly let go of those thoughts and focus at this moment.

''It's nothing.'' Eleanor smiled gently at Asher.

It's true that her very expensive gift's worth is nothing compared to her son's worth.

She then hugged Asher.

''Happy late birthday.'' While pressing his face to her big breast.

''Thanks...'' Asher's voice got muffled by his mother's chest.

They never really have a moment like this in his birthday because of the party so they planned this

To have a moments with Asher!

It takes six days because they wanted to prepare themselves at this moment.

And it's worth it.

The three sisters didn't interrupt those two because it will be distasteful when they are having a precious moment in their time.

They will have their turn after they are finish but they couldn't help to feel jealous.

''I wanna hug Asher like that...'' Amelia muttered while blushing.

She wanted to hug Asher without feeling embarrassed and tightly hugged him, like her mom did.

''I'll just hug him as usual. Besides, he will feel good about it.'' Evelyn just shrugged, completely not caring about how would she hug Asher.

To her it really doesn't make a difference. A hug is a hug.

''...'' Luna is just silent. She's just looking at the figure of her mother and little brother, hugging each other.

After a while,

''Asher, your older sisters have some gifts for you too.'' Eleanor said while point her finger to her daughters, at the same time, hugging Asher.

She haven't completely forgotten about her daughters turn so she spoke about it.

''Mhm!'' Asher nodded, walking towards to his three sisters, who's seating in the couch.

He stood in front of them and made a hand gesture to tell them to give him the gifts.

''Please?'' He adorably asked.

''''''?'''''' They all tilt their heads at the same time.

The three sisters are confused by this.

Aren't their little brother suppose to hug them while thanking them at the same time when they give him, his gifts?

But still, these scene still cute when their little brother look shy.

Okay, that's just their imagination. Their little brother is just smiling gratefully towards to them.

But they wanted to feel what Eleanor felt earlier!

''Asher! What about my hug? Aren't you suppose to thank me...'' Evelyn pouted, showing her sad expression to bait Asher.

Evelyn is a straight forward person so she didn't feel embarrassed speaking her intention, unlike Luna and Amelia.

It sometimes cause problem to Luna and Amelia but this time, they are grateful for her straight forwardness personality at this moment.

''Umm, okay?'' He then take a step forward to Evelyn and tried to hug her when she's sitting.

He then sit on her lap, he then rotated his whole body to face Evelyn. Face to face.

''Should I hug you like this?'' He asked her while tilting his head.

At this moment, Evelyn is speechless.

'So cute!!' Her little brother is so adorable right now, that she wanted to crush him with her hug.

''Of course!'' She then hugged Asher tightly.

''Humph...!'' Because of the tightness of her hug, his breathing halt for a second.

Though he's more talented than her, considering she's more a half older than him, she's obviously the stronger one.

So... Asher is hopeless. Though he have many ways to breakthrough at this situation, he won't do it because it's all dangerous to Evelyn.

Besides, he won't die from this suffocation because he can hold his breathing for an hour.

Fortunately, Amelia notices it and quickly tried to stop Evelyn.

''Hey, Evelyn! Don't hug Asher too tightly! Your going to choke him!'' She shouted and quickly stand up from her couch to walk towards to Evelyn so she can stop her.

'Oops.' Evelyn realized that she is hugging Asher too tightly...

But Asher didn't seems to mind it.

''But he's fine...''

''Well on outside he is, but in the inside, you're crushing his ribcage!'' Amelia shouted, her little brother might die from that!

''Okay, just calm down. I already let go of him.'' Evelyn look like she doesn't care about it, because of this, Amelia calmed down.

Amelia knows that Asher isn't in dangerous state because of Evelyn's ''No worry'' face.

''...maybe I overreact. Sorry.'' Amelia apologize about her action earlier to Evelyn.

''It's fine... I will react the same if I saw someone did the same as me to Asher.'' Evelyn just shrugged it off and told her it's fine.

She then stop minding about Amelia and tried to hug Asher again but felt nothing but air.

''...!'' She then quickly look around and spotted Luna, who got Asher in her lap and trying to give him her gift.

''This sneaky... Hah...'' Well she let her guard down and Luna take advantage of that so she deserve this.

And yes, Luna is an Assassin.

It's the most suitable class for her body size.

She's also insanely quick so Eleanor pick this class for her.

''Asher! Here's your gift.'' Luna quickly gave him the small black box that is wrapped in red high quality cloth.

Asher accepted it and unwrapped the cloth on the small box.

He then opened it to see a small balls of expensive chocolates.

It has gold flakes on the sides of the chocolate ball.

He then pick one chocolate ball and put it into his mouth.

''Mhm...''

''Umm, how is it?'' She asked while feeling little nervous.

She is confident that the chocolate will make Asher happy so she give him to this as her gift.

''Great!'' It's really great chocolate.

A perfect taste of an sweet chocolate, the crunchiness wants him to get more of this to chew it, the flavor exploded in his mouth, making him scream in his mind because it's so good!

'I... Can't believe that there's a masterpiece chocolate like this, existed in this world.' Asher is speechless. He doesn't even know that a chocolate like this existed in the first place.

'Wait... Chocolate maker.... Chocolate maker...It's the heroine's father.' He's going to visit that guy's shop later to eat sweets and meet his daughter.

''Where did you buy this? I wanna visit it! It's really good...'' Evelyn said when she tasted the chocolate.

''Mmm... It's really good.'' Amelia agreed. This is her new favorite sweet from now on.

''I'll tell it to you tomorrow... I can't just tell you about my secrets!'' Luna childishly complained.

''Fair enough.'' They both nodded.

After that, the two then resume to give their gifts to Asher.

Amelia gifted Asher an book that is all about the basics of magic spells.

She knows that he is passionate about magic when she caught him reading books.

He is very focused at that time, he didn't even sense Amelia which make her amaze from her little brother's concentration.

Evelyn gifted Asher an book that is about a legend of someone.

Evelyn knew that her little brother like to read books about legendary people so she gifted this to him.

After a while, Asher is laying down in his mother's bed.

Eleanor is already sleeping while Asher is still awake, waiting for the process to finish.

''...'' He kept staring at the screen in front of him.

[Ding!]

'Finally!'

[The process is done]

[We apologized about how long it takes]

''... Sigh.'' Asher sighed tiredly.
