chapter 3 ( secondary life begins)

I finally did my primarysix common entrance examination after six years. unfortunately for me, my scores were too low for the secondary school of my choice.

Through my dad 's influence, i was admitted. On our orientation day, many teachers addressed us in the school hall. Out of all the teachers who came to address us, only one teacher advice moved me.

"𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙅 𝙅 𝙘 ( 𝙟𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚) 𝙨𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙢𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠 𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙢𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙣𝙚𝙭𝙩 𝙘𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙨 "

" 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙣𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙡𝙮 𝙬𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙣 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙡" he continued.

" 𝙞𝙩 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙗𝙚 𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙨𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙮𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚"

The teacher toldn us to be of good conduct so that our names might be written with pen in the school register. to be honest i found that funny though.

"𝘼𝙢 𝙞 𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙤𝙙 " asked the teacher.

" 𝙔𝙚𝙨 𝙨𝙞𝙧 "We echoed.

What the teacher told us that day made me decide on my own to read hard and have good grades in my subjects.

I created special timetable for tje subjects i found jard for me to handle so as to spend more time on it while studying them

First term result came out and i had good grades in all my subjects especially music. From my primary school days, i have developed so much interest and passion in music. I love singing and i know i sing nicely in my own way.

" 𝙪𝙣𝙗𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙫𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚"

" 𝘽𝙪𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙥𝙪𝙩 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙚𝙛𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙣𝙚𝙭𝙩 𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙢" he continued.

"𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙞𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙢 𝙨𝙤 𝙖𝙨 𝙖𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙤𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙨 " dad concluded

"𝙮𝙚𝙨 𝙨𝙞𝙧" i replied with so much joy about dad's remark.

Dad's comment made me feel proid of myself. I sang through out the day. Mum prepared a good meal for the familyin which i ate the lion share of it. Like seriously, people do call me mr slender tje great eater and that's exactly what i am....
