20. Disappear

At that time, the sun was not such hot. The wind was stern and her wet body was lying on the ground sickly. They were looking at each other affectionately even if they had seen each other for the first time.

"Are you alright?" After a long time, Jane Dover heard his baritone and magnetic voice which caused his warm breath to fall on her small face. She blinked her ravishing eyes and straightened back then nodded slowly. He untangled his back with a sigh of relief and looked at her with his upright eyes.

"Why did you jump in the dangerous flow?" His voice was serious and low.

"You shouldn't have saved me." He heard her sweet voice for the first time which pierced his heart as if it was an arrow.

"Aren't you afraid of dying?" He asked while maintaining his decent voice.

"Life is scarier than death." Her second answer was also eccentric, hearing which he became eager to know about her.
