The crow had been sitting on the railing in the balcony and the wind was slow. Moon was curious and the night was worried. It seemed that they would finally argue because Darius Simard was in his worst mood.
When Jane Dover looked at his terrible gaze, she held her palms and for a while, she became worried but then gathered courage and parted her lips to say, "Please..."
Darius Simard looked at her for a while then patted on the space beside him.
"Come here."
He was drunk and his voice was hoarse. Jane Dover was frightened yet she dared to sit beside him.
Darius Simard gulped the red wine and looked at her with his heavy gaze.
"Jane."
Jane Dover nodded quickly to react.
"Do you know what the worst feeling in the world is?"
Jane Dover kept looking at him as if she wanted him to answer this question.
"The worst feeling is to wait for the one who is never going to return."
Jane Dover's fear ran away when she heard these intense words from him. He smirked sarcastically and looked at the empty glass of red wine.
When he did not react for a while, Jane Dover looked at his side face with her gentle gaze. What exactly he wanted to tell her was not cleared by him and she became confused.
"Is that flower really given by him or have you brought it for me?" Darius Simard asked suddenly and she became dumbfounded. He raised his eyes and looked at her hopefully but when she hesitated to answer, he smirked slightly and gulped the whole glass of red wine.
"I liked that flower. He plucked it for me." Her low and trembling voice entered his ears and he looked at her heavily as if it was proven that she did not bring that flower for him. Jane Dover got spooked again due to his dark and hefty gaze.
"Jane…" He called her affectionately then raised his palm and placed it on her white cheek gently. Jane Dover trembled slightly but when she saw his dazzling smile, she held her palms tighter in panic. She did not know whether was sad or pretending to be happy.
Darius Simard leaned closer and her back touched the couch. His handsome face was closer and dragged her into a trance. His heavy body was pressed on her carelessly and their eyes were into each other.
"Jane..." He called again passionately and buried his head on her chest. His warm and heavy breaths were melting her body and the touch of his wet lips on her skin made her flutter every time. She clenched her fists beside her thighs and closed her eyes tighter.
"I don't want to lose you again."
When she heard his hoarse voice, she opened her eyes in surprise. Before she could think ahead, his alms reached into her arms and grabbed them tighter above her head. Her physical fragrance was so intoxicating that he could not control himself, but now she was worried that he would do all that she didn't want him to do because she was still not ready for it.
On one hand, she knew that they have a relationship as husband and wife and it would be vicious to stop him from touching her, but she was still depriving herself because her heart was not motivating her to cheat on Darius Simard.
Jane Dover slowly raised her palm and placed it on the back of his head then said in her suppressed voice, "Darius... You are drunk."
"I don't care." He again gripped her wrists tightly above her head and kissed her neck fiercely. Even if she was getting excited but the feeling of denying herself was overcoming it.
"It's late night, Darius. You should sleep."
"No..." He looked at her and roared. Jane Dover got scared and kept looking into his red eyes. Perhaps a demon has come alive in him, thus his face was full of stubbornness as if he wanted to control her completely.
He gasped and stared at Jane Dover for a while with hungry eyes, and she was stunned by the weight of his masculine body. Without hesitation, he tore her velvet gown from the shoulder part and again started kissing her neck like a madman. Jane Dover did not give up in front of his astonishing strength and started pushing him away from her.
"Stop." He tried to take control of her thin body and roared while looking at her. But soon, after seeing his angry face, she bit her lips and looked at him with her tearful eyes as if she was urging him not to behave with her like this.
"Don't do this... Please." All this was she could say. He listened to her request but started pulling her clothes while ignoring the request but Jane Dover could not handle his strong attack and started trying to save her body from his mad lust.
Darius Simard's eyes and demeanour were saying that he had drunk too much, but this did not mean that he should force her to sleep with Jane Dover! She was able to save herself from his firm arms and gazed in amazement at her husband while panting, who was treating her reasonably and gently till now.
Darius Simard stood up, keeping his body under control and looked with stormy eyes at his wife who was completely afraid of him.
"Jane..." He spread his arms.
"Come into my arms. I'll protect you."
Jane Dover could not understand whether her husband wanted to sleep with her or to protect her. But she knew that she still had to save her body.
"Jane..." He stepped ahead with his unsteady walk and heavy eyes.
"Your highness. Please sleep for now. You're amoke right now." She solicited in her stifled voice but it seemed that her words were not reaching to his ears. He stepped ahead to grab her in his arms and she kept stepping back in fear while holding the broken part on her shouler of her silky gown.
"Your highness…" She urged with her tearful eyes but he smiled in a daze.
"Don't call me like this. Call me by my name."
"You are drunk. Please don't do this." She requested and suddenly he kicked the candle stand terribly while made her frightened even more when he roared, "Yes, I am drunk."
He rushed to hold her and she terrifyingly stepped back which made her stumble on the bed. When she fell on the bed, her heart was about to jump out of her chest. Seeing him moving towards her, her body had turned pale in fear. The throat became dry and the breath got stuck in the chest only when he had reached very close to the bed.
"No..." she begged in refusal, but Darius Simard's eyes were clearly visible with lust, which was deadly for Jane Dover.
Darius Simard stumbled on the edge of the bed and panted while leaning on her while she was covering her painful chest while trembling.
"Darius… No… Please…" She started sobbing as if she was begging for her life but Darius Simard clenched her soft cheeks as if he wanted to smash them then leaned and looked straight into her teary eyes.
"Why are you crying? Am I not your husband?" His hoarse and smelly voice fell on her small and sweaty face and tried to gasp air from her mouth because it had become hard to breathe.
"Please…" She sobbed.
Darius Simard did not wait and buried his face in her neck and she kept sobbing while biting her lips. Now, she had understood that resisting would be a waste and she would not be able to escape from his lust. She closed her eyes tighter feeling pain in her chest and tried to tolerate his warm and alcoholic breaths on her neck. Finally, she had given up and loosened her body because she was not strong enough to fight.
"Jane…"
His lips could not reach her lips and he could not start because of the effect of red wine. Keeping his lips on her soft neck, he fell into a deep sleep and tears kept flowing from Jane Dover's swollen eyes. She was so defeated that her hands could not even get up to pull aside his heavy body. She kept on sleeping under his heavy body like a clay idol, and kept crying.
