They arrived at The Bloody Fang. It was a popular nightclub, famous for their sexy clientele and strong drinks. It was also a place where humans who allowed themselves to be fed on by vampires hung out. Nora suspected Kai picked the location on purpose. The interior was decorated in varying shades of red, accented by black velvet. 


"I got us a table," Kai called out over the thumping music. "Come on." With his hand on the small of her back, he led her through the crowded club. Eyes scanned her as she walked past, and a small smile crept over her face. 


"Hi!" voices called out. Ruby and Jade sat in the VIP booth. Nora froze for a moment, unsure if she wanted to see them. They seemed to understand her trepidation.


"We're not here for him," Ruby assured.


"We won't talk about him at all if you don't want to," they said together. Nora smiled at them and sat down.


"Let's order some drinks!" she shouted.
