TALLIA
My wolf surged in my body and all my bones bent and broke at once.
I screamed and collapsed to the ground, but before I could writhe in agony, it was already over.
I shoved up to four legs, shook off the blanket that covered me, and glared at Bryant.
That had hurt!
He raised his hands and chuckled. "It'll get better, I promise."
I huffed, but liked the softer side of him.
That said, for some reason I liked his dominant side too.
My wolf ached to rub up against him and cover him with our scent, but I refused to let her. We weren't going to act desperate. She was annoyed but agreed.
"Now, shift back."
I looked to the forest and whined. Both my wolf and I ached to go for a long run. I loved to run as a human, and I could only imagine how amazing it would feel in wolf form.
"You can run some other time. I have a lot to get done today."
I rolled my eyes, but sat and closed my eyes.
"Now, focus on your human form. The look and feel of it."
