My free hand swept around her and pressed her lower back, so we crushed together. The hand that was in her hair dug in and cupped the back of her head. Tingles spread from every point of contact until my body was on fire. I burned for her.
I harden against her.
Tallia gasped, but didn't pull away. She stared up at me in awe with her pupils blown wide. The scent of our arousal mixed and swelled around us.
Her hands came up to my chest and her fingers dug in, like she'd claw me if I even tried to pull away.
"I'm done running, my mate," I said in a low growl.

Hands down the best synopsis I've ever read that made me want to start reading the book after sentence two!! I am so glad I found this little gem!
I love how relatable chapter 1 already is with Tallia unable to say no to her boss. It's a short exchange but written so vividly and showcases the female leads selflessness. Such a talented worrying technique from the author to show rather than tell and it makes the story all the better for it! Really excited to continue reading!
Great read! Wonderful characters, exciting plot, and so well written, I felt like I was right there in the story. I can't wait to see what happens next. I will definitely be waiting anxiously for more chapters to drop!
The writing style is so crisp and clean and the description is beautifully written. The characters are unique and the story is one that I haven't heard of before. A very unique twist to a shifter novel that I thoroughly enjoy so far!
