TALLIA
“He’s an a*s,” Dominic said as he walked me up to the fourth floor of the house. I hadn’t had a reason to go up there since my first tour of the house.
I nodded, but said nothing. I didn’t want to badmouth Bryant, but I’d needed to talk about it to someone.
“He’ll come around. Don’t worry about it.”
“Yeah, but will he come around because I’m his mate or because he actually realizes he’s wrong?”
Dominic shook his head. “I can’t tell you that. But he is wrong. Don’t you doubt that for a second. My mom was a turned shifter and look at me. I’m a beta and I’m Gamma to the Alpha King. Turned shifters are no different, really. The only issue is that a lot of them have trouble letting go of their human instincts. You’re getting better about that every day. You’re perfect. And the sigma thing is great too. You’re a great Luna Queen because you don’t care about the hierarchy. You just want what’s best for everyone and you won’t be swayed by power.”
