BRYANT
I pressed the heels of my palms into my eye sockets and let out a long, low growl.
This day couldn’t get any worse.
We were no closer to finding my brother or learning what he had planned, and my pack was unhappy with the lockdown.
Every day, Tallia asked if she and Dominic could train outside. I knew that even as a human, she’d craved and needed her daily runs and now that she was a shifter, that connection to the outdoors had only grown. I could feel her moving around the first floor of the house, making herself busy so she could avoid the fact that she was stuck inside.
The door to my office swung open and I let out a vicious snarl as I threw back my chair and stood to face the intruder.
Zarron stopped with a raised brow. “I knocked.”
I frowned at him and took my seat again with a huff. “What is it?”
“We caught two wolves outside the border of our pack looking for a way in.”
My heart gave a hard thud in my chest. “And?”
