TALLIA
As I walked through the pack house, I couldn’t help but notice the majority of people smiling at me and giving me respectful nods. Things were looking up. It seemed that with the omega and non-ranked approval came respect from several of the other packmates.
I was relieved.
I’d been thinking a lot about what Liza said about letting my wolf take the lead on my interactions with some of the higher ranked members and I was super nervous. I didn’t want to come off as pushy or like I was forcing them to do what I wanted.
My wolf was dominant. In fact, the only person I’d met more dominant than her was Bryant. But using that made me uncomfortable.
But that was the issue.
That was human thinking, and I wasn’t human anymore.
Despite the smiles and respect coming from my pack mates, there was tension in the air.
