Ray seems a bit restless lately. Although these past few weeks have been smooth sailing on my part, with completing the studies and now endurance training, his seem to have become more and more chaotic. 


I haven’t seen him much, if at all, around campus this week. And for the latter of my studies at Tote’s, Sam had to cover for him to quiz me on the material. Which was kind of a good thing too since I got to bond a bit more with her, albeit still awkwardly.


But if I’m going to be honest, I’ve kind of…missed him? I don’t know, his sarcastic remarks and incessant teasing are things I found annoying at first, but after a while, I’ve grown somewhat attached to them. 


So meeting him now, sensing no inclination of playful jesters or ridiculous banters, leaves a looming pain in my chest. There’s this strange rift that’s separated us, like I’m no longer a part of his world.
