Chapter 16: Strengthen Up

DEMING, WA – DEMING COLLEGE

SAM’S POV

“Three more laps to go, Anna! Looking good!” I yell out to her. She gives me a thumbs up in response and keeps at her pace. Anna says she hasn’t worked out since running for the track team back in high school, yet she’s still able to run for miles with no real challenge. Makes me wonder if it runs in her family, and if her real parents were actually olympians or something. Because not many can just get up and start working out with no problem whatsoever.

“What, is her dad superman?” I mumble to myself.

It’s been two weeks since Anna’s completed her studies. We’re currently working on increasing her physical strength and endurance, although it doesn’t seem to be as much of an issue as I thought it would be. But the reason for this pseudo bootcamp is so she can help in the preparations for the Holy Moon Tournament since we’re hosting it this year.
