Fainted? Ring?

"And he left me because you are torturing his sister. I thought I got a life I deserved finally. I thought I can live the life that I got finally. I even imagined having a family. But… you ruined it. You ruined your marriage along with mine! Are you happy now?" Lenora asked as her eyes filled with immense sadness, grief, and guilt.

Every part of her body was screaming to run far away from her brother, but she stood rooted there. Her heart was begging her to run into Maximus's chambers and ask him to be the way he has been but she couldn't.

"You are ruining the life I wished for for years," Lenora said as choked with tears. She no longer kept the strong front and broke down.

"He is the kind of man I wanted from my childhood," Lenora added making his heart clench in pain.

"He is perfect the way he is. When I thought I would have a happy marriage. You ruined it!" Lenora said.

"I became so desperate to have him back. I stooped myself to the point that I even surprise myself. I never knew I could do the things I did till I did them," she said with tears.

Zaros knew what his sister was talking about. Even he was surprised at the act she pulled up. Even he himself didn't like this. But apart from him and his stupid wife no one knew it. So, he ignored it.

But hearing it from his sister's mouth made him feel something.

"I have to stoop to that level. All because of you. All because of your greed," Lenora said.

"What sin did I do? What sin did I do after I am born? I was snatched from my family and turned into a vampire. I said nothing. After all, fate can be a bastard. Then accused of murder, which I didn't commit. After being forced to marry him. When I married him… he is gentle, loving, and caring. I fell in love with him only to be cast away to the side because of you.

"And now… you have the nerve to come to me. And ask me to call you brother? How dare you?" she yelled.

"I don't want to see your face. Leave now. The day you treat your wife well show me your face. Till then I don't want to acknowledge it. You will be Vampire king to my eyes. That's all," Lenora said.

Eudora just shook her and was about to leave. She needs to digest many things. Just then she realized Adira was nowhere to be seen. It felt reasonable for her to leave. After all which woman can bear these kinds of words and insults from her own husband?

As Lenora said…. The fault was Zaros. He has to fix them. He can't expect things to fold in the way he expected to.

Lenora cried at her fate. But again she doesn't want to cry anymore in front of them. Wiping her eyes, she decided to go inside. Everything served by the servants was untouched. Lenora never expected she would burst out this much. On the other point, she felt she was reasonable. Since yesterday she has been in emotional turmoil. Maybe she burst out because of that. Whatever she burst out. She hoped he would change.

She looked at the frozen silhouette of her brother. Just then her eyes noticed something weird. His eyes were turning red. His hands were clenching and unclenching in anger. Normally, if he loves her… he shall feel sad, not angry. What's wrong with him?

All of a sudden a type of red fumes started swirling around his body.

What!?

Wait!?

This doesn't look good anymore.

There was really something about him.

Looking at him, she observed what was happening with his body. He was turning into a complete vampire. If this goes on… he will grow his wings and his fangs and claws will appear. If that happens, he might go on a killing spree.

Not very good!

This happens unless he switched off his humanity. Or…. someone spelled a cast on him.

A Vampire will change into a human form only when he was triggered. Here there was no trigger but grief. It means he was cast by the spell. But who would do it?

Unless… there was a pendant or a ring on him which was spelled.

Again her eyes took in the red fumes which were making patterns on his body from one direction. Her eyes went to the place where the fumes were originating.

That's when she noticed a ring. A ring that looked weird. Which didn't look like something Vampire or Werewolf.

This kind of ring…. She saw somewhere.

She needs to remove it. Running towards him, she grabbed his hand. Before he could react she pulled out his ring.

"Mom!" she called Eudora before she could leave.

"Calm him down! I have to take care of this ring," Lenora said.

Eudora nodded seeing her son state. She wasn't in the mood to concentrate on anything but calming him. There was already enough he created. She can't allow him to create more.

Lenora doesn't know why but her heart said Celine was the best one to deal with this ring. She ran to her without any second thought.

"Celine," Lenora yelled as she ran into her chambers.

"My Lady," Celine answered her call in a beck.

"Do something. This damned thing! Do something about this! Make it stop. That's it!" Lenora said frantically as she pushed the ring into her hands.

"We need to bury this in soil. The spell will be absorbed by the soil," Celine said.

Lenora dragged her to the garden with her hand without noticing what Celine was doing. Celine fisted the ring in her hand and chanted something making the ring turn into a useless one.

Celine deactivated the spell which was cast on the ring. She heaved a sigh as she allowed herself to be dragged by Lenora.
