Wesley flung to the side hitting the side of the elevator. However, Leo's spidey senses saved him. Leo held Wesley by his collar while he flung everywhere. At one point, the elevator stopped again.
The pause gave Wesley a chance to gather himself back up before throwing not just him but Leo against the walls.
Daniel and Luna looked over at them, disappointed. So much for being soldiers. What horrible training have they been doing? Amil grabbed onto Leah's waist as he watched her wobble around. Leah seemed out of it. She was still dwelling over the fact that she had just in fact, been well taken cared of by him.
It was a fact that Amil had always observed every small little detail of her. When she was tired and her eyes start to close slightly, he would lie and say that he is tired and that they should sleep. When she starts getting angry, he would find food for her. She never had to say what she needed or wanted. It would be served on a platter for her. He loved her. It was obvious. However, she was quite stupid.
Unbeknownst to him, he was not the only one who noticed all the small detail of Leah. He did too, Leo loved her so. Leo would often do the same as Amil, he would bring up of hugging her and holding her, but he was more what was called. Possessive. Leo watched as Amil grabbed onto her waist. The moved in synchronisation. It was the first time Amil made any sort of move to Leo's eyes.
Amil held onto her, in hopes to let her be stable, nothing more. His pure heart was what drew Leah in.
"Hey, Leah?" Amil voice filled Leah's floating mind.
Leah turned to look at Amil. Confused, as if she had just woken up.
"Come back to reality. We are might have to fight, I can't trust that I can take her army but neither can I trust that they can." Amil turned to look at the boys that were unfortunately, sprawled on the floor, exhausted.
"I can't protect you all the time." Amil's soft voice soothed Leah.
"I'm sorry, I put all of you in this situation." Leah chocked on her words.
Amil laughed quietly, more of a chuckle.
"They chose to follow. We gave them a choice before all these happened." Amil comforted her, assuring her that she was not at fault.
His words seems to not be as effective as he thought. She just shook her head quite violently for three seconds before cocking her gun, to be ready for battle. It was as if she shook away all guilt. Maybe it was effective?
He looked at her, all fixated on her, even his heart was locked onto her. He watched her focus, ready for battle, yet trying to forget about what she had just caused. He watched worry swallowed , she may not realised just yet. He was all he could care about but yet it does not seem as if she knew at all.
Leo too, his eyes fixated on them, specifically Leah. It seemed as resentment and anger was the only thing Leo could think about.
Suddenly, the elevator stopped moving. Silence overwhelmed them. Everyone finally focused on all four walls , no one knew which one would open. As the doors , well walls , ascended each and everyone prepared for a fight. Leo and Wesley were already in a stance and as for Luna and Daniel , Daniel was prepared to throw himself Infront of Luna in case of anything and Amil seemed as if he would do the for Leah.
As the walls ascended , it revealed soldiers moving around as if prepare for something bad. Everyone seemed as if in a rush , running around - it would be better if they could fly. When the walls finally fully ascended, the soldiers stood in two lines, ready to accept the kids from all corners.
They were taken aback, all of them. Why were they all ready for a fight? the soldiers stood firm, not touching their weapons t all. As for the children, they were all in shock, why were they all not even holding their weapons? They started to put down their own weapons, except for Daniel and Wesley.
They still kept their instruments of harm up int the air. Ready for battle.
"Welcome my children." They heard of voice as Amil and Leah watched her walk down the walkway of soldiers, both of them were well-dressed.
Who knew, there were not as far as they thought.
