A loud yell pierced the air. Not of pain or fright, but pure unbridled wrath that sent violent shivers flying up Trevor's spine so fast they bounced back down.
The ground grumbled like a stamped of deers were speeding towards him.
Suddenly two dragons gold like wheat burst out from between the trees. Dragging a dark wooden and ivory chariot with golden plants etched into it.
The reason as to why he managed to drink in so many detail being that the dragons made a sharp swerve to the right.
The chariot slamming straight into Trevor at the speed of a car.
"No, no no no no!" Frantically yelled Trevor as the chariot suddenly took off while he held onto it.
"Damn it!" He cried out as the apples slipped his hands. All the son of Demeter could do now was climb inside the chariot and grab onto the reigns.
And hope for the best.
Having no idea what to do Trevor pulled the reigns in a random direction. The dragons must have recognized his scent given that he hadn't been burned to a crisp yet.
The chariot swung around wildly Trevor letting a high pitch scream he'd later deny making later; as the chariot briefly went upside down. He was going right for a building before he finally pulled in the right direction. Steering the dragons away from the building in extremis.
For a few moments Trevor was driving on the side of the windows. Leaving wheel sizes holes in them. Once he gained control of the beasts Trevor almost found it peaceful up here in the sky.
But the son of Demeter preferred feeling his two feet rooted to the ground thank you very much.
"Ok just go down." He told the dragons with unease, but the fire breathing reptiles didn't do anything. With a frown Trevor rummaged through his brain and remembered his few Greek lessons.
"Euh káto?"
The word down in Greek registered in the mind of the two dragons. They swooped down at incredible speed. Leaving Trevor's heart several hundred feet above him.
The landing was harsh, but thankfully nothing was broken. Including himself, the son of Demeter patted his own body just to be sure.
One of the dragons let out a demanding sound. While the other one let out a puff of smoke through it's nose like an annoyed cartoon bull.
Trevor quickly understood they wanted food, but Trevor almost wanted to tell these two to eat
dirt for nearly killing him.
He took a deep breath easily sensing one of the apples in a bush near him.
"Stupid reptile." He muttered to himself when he was out of what he assumed was a dragon's earshot.
He snatched one of the apples off the ground. Wondering how the other one could be this far away.
A sudden loud crunch made Trevor jump and spun around.
To a sword under his chin. The red haired girl held it there lazily as she took another ravenous bite of the magical apple.
"So, you're Demeter's lackey huh?"
Trevor having no idea what was going on simply nodded.
"Well too bad I gotta kill a cute boy like you then."
