Marcius Aemilia was killed during a duel because his opponent cheated by using a vicious poison.

The Revenant King of Rubrum

Marcius was the one left standing as the dust settled. The explosion and force produced by the clash between him and the elder of the Order of Purple Sun had caused serious effects on the battlefield itself.


The ones to be standing near or trying to run were blasted away by the shock waves, and the ground was shaken and destroyed as a result.


Elder Karmaryan was a decent opponent as far as things went. He was a good fighter, but Marcius was better. Not to mention the Devil Fist martial art Marcius did not use, the two arts of Chaos; Movement of Gaea and Embodiment of Tartarus, the sword intent, and the Immortal Body of Nine Heavens were potent aspects in and themselves. Nar Karmryan did not stand a chance in the first place. The only reason he was able to hold on for as long as he did was due to the fact that the heir of the Aemilia clan was not going all out. But nonetheless, the elder was a worthy opponent.
