Marcius Aemilia was killed during a duel because his opponent cheated by using a vicious poison.

The Revenant King of Rubrum

With the fall of the vanguard of the Order of Purple Sun which was supposed to act as a scouting force to test the waters, and to perform as a reinforcement for the clan of Kerther, it was also a foregone conclusion that the fate of the Kerther clan and their capital city of the region was sealed. The clan of Aemilia would have free reign to run around the lowlands of the Kerther clan and do as they wished.


Thus, it was not a surprising fact that when four days later the fall of the destruction of the order's forces within the lowlands, the capital Kerth also fell to the hand of Aemilia and was occupied by the victors.


The morale and fighting spirit of the Aemilia troops were high and they celebrated accordingly. The exception to the rule, however, was Marcius, his parents, and his close council. Not to be mistaken, they were happy that they managed to occupy the capital of the lowlands. It was just that they still had much more important things to worry about.
