Things had more or less stabilized for a while now. The siege was currently in progress, but the bombardment from the Hell Hammer cannons had to be stopped for the moment.

On the other hand, Nathenial's efforts to find a way to destroy the barrier shielding the Order of Purple Sun had been making some advancements, although he was nowhere near being able to deactivate the barrier. The process had been slow but it also had been steady.

The siege camp had been constructed. The head of the Aemilia clan had ordered the camp to be constructed as far away from the reach of the Order of Purple Sun as possible to reduce the chance of retaliatory strikes. Marcus and Marcius personally oversaw the construction since both of them had vast experience in building temporary camps that could offer the best protections.

So, as it was mentioned, all had been going well for the attackers of the siege.
