Marcius Aemilia was killed during a duel because his opponent cheated by using a vicious poison.

The Revenant King of Rubrum

It was nighttime on top of the Purple Sun Hill and many members of the Aemilia clan had taken to resting inside their temporary residence.

Well, most except for those who were on guard or patrol duties.

And the heir of the Aemilia clan was one of those who were calling it a night. However, Marcius was not exactly resting by definition, as he was currently going through the rewards, he had gained from the Bounty Hunter System for killing the two great elders and order master of the Order of Purple Sun.

The gains were quite worth it, and the bounty points alone were nothing to scoff at. Altogether, Marcius had accumulated over five thousand bounty points for killing the three Spirit Bron realm cultivators — five thousand and four hundred points, to be exact.

Then, the rewards included a martial technique and two artifacts. All three of those rewards were something that could make it worth all the effort Marcius had exerted in order to kill the bounties.
