As he progresses and meets new challenges in the modern world, he slowly learns that there are other Mages trying to take power in the world, invoking the screams of the End Times finally coming to Earth.

Yuri returned to the Palace and Oda Hatanaka waited for him at the back door gates.

"I take it that the meeting went well, my Lord," Oda asked.

"Yes, technically. But I don't want to talk about it anymore."

Oda gave a small bow and said, "Certainly, my Lord."

"These meetings. Only you and I know about them, Oda. Can I trust you to bury this secret in your grave?"

They then walked back inside the palace. Oda asked Yuri another question, "About the new Chancellor of the Realm, he has been looking everywhere for you, my Lord. It seems that he is getting used to his new abilities."

Yuri then smiled and said, "As expected. The boy has above average IQ and added with the powers that I have given him, he will make a good governor of my Kingdom while I am busy with more important things."

Oda nodded and he opened the front door for Yuri.
