Cionna’s POV
The Docks
Julien held my hand the entire ride here. He refused to tell me where we were headed after dinner. I glance at my phone for the first time and notice it’s already after ten. I’m glad I didn’t plan on going to my morning classes tomorrow. It looks like I won’t make it anyway.
We pull up to the docks and I see string lights all around giving new life to the darkness. Julien remains a gentleman and helps me out of the car. Excitedly, he guides me down the wooden path until we walk up to a medium-sized white boat with large white sails. There are lights everywhere, and as we get closer, I notice that they’re candles.
