For once, things started to go Mason’s way. After all these years, he discovered what life is like without the harsh nature of the asylum weighing him down, and it was pretty rewarding in the scheme of things. His best friend was at his side, not as his cellmate, but as his partner in crime against the inhumane life they’ve had to put up with against their will. His new tech savvy friend, Montez, was the first true male bond he’s had in years. Same with Apollo, even if Oswald’s murderous tendencies creep him out a little bit. And now, he’s on his way to return to the life that was stripped from him, not only stronger than ever, but somewhat happier than before as well. Life is not exactly perfect for nature’s wisest combatant, but it is certainly better than it has been for quite some time.
“So, you can really see all the data from the asylum now?” Mason asked while walking beside Montez.
