Once a cheerful teen, Mason Corpse's world collapsed before him after discovering his abilities to control nature. When tragedy strikes at his family reunion, Mason was sent to Monstrosity Haven, an asylum for superpowered individuals learning how to tame their abilities - or so he thought.
Uncovering a web of secrets about the asylum and its Warden, Grim, Mason enlists the help of secret agents, tribal strangers, and even his fellow inmates to escape captivity and overcome the variety of obstacles and enemies Grim has forged.
Follow the journey of a unique hero as he uses his abilities to grow plants, forge weapons made from nature, and tame all wildlife during his encounters with mazes, swamp creatures, and otherworldly demons. Will Mason regain his freedom, or will Grim's plan bring an end to all humanity?

Talk about a bomb story! The way I can immerse myself in the story is proof to your way with words. You are truly talented and I hope you never stop writing.
Absolutely one of the best books I've read! The consistency of the storyline, the character development, the action, everything was amazing! One of my favorite things is that in between all of the action, the author really provoked our feelings. Not too many books touch on depression in a way that makes it seem like the reader is not alone but this author did. The writing style was simplistic enough to keep the attention of the reader but complex enough to make you feel like you were transported imto the book. I felt like I was right there in the action and we really get to fall in love with the characters. 100/10 would ABSOLUTELY read again!
I love Mason Corpse! The action in this book just keeps getting more and more exciting the further you get into the story. The whole book has me on edge and I'm excited to read more!
I really like this story so far, though it's not exactly what I thought it would be based on the title, but it's a great book. Mason is a very likable character. You have to hope everything works out for him!
I'm not going to lie--- I usually don't read stories about teenagers but the title on this piqued my interest!! Needless to say, I really wanted to drop this review because I'm impressed. Wow!
