Chapter 15: Not a robot

Before he or Lindi could react, the twins jumped out of the booth and pushed over the robot. No hesitation, no having to figure out how to get the robot turned over. They did it as if they'd had time to plan it.

The two of them were too short and the robot too big - with the base at the bottom larger - to push it over. Without breaking their speed, one grabbed the bottom and lifted, and the other pushed as high as he could reach. Rafe had no doubt if he put the robot's dimensions and the children's height and strength through the computer, that he'd find the exact same move as the most efficient one to push over the poor robot.

A scream, dulled by the hull of the robot, came from inside the thing, and then a gangly teenager, Rafe judged to be about sixteen, crawled out, scowling at the twins. "What did you do that for, umph?"
