98th SS - Rise Of The Roaring Moon

Xing Luo was a peerless genius blessed by the Heavens. Being the descendant of the White Dragon God, Xing Luo was born with his ancestor's unique bone frame, the White Dragon Bone Frame. Thus, his cultivation soared at a young age and was betrothed to the princess of Yin Beast Kingdom later on.

"Clang!" On the day of the wedding, Xing Luo's clan, White Dragon Brigade, was ambushed and slaughtered by the Roaring River Pavilion. Xing Lou however was not killed and was instead brought back to the pavilion's headquarters. Once there, he finds out that his clan's massacre was actually a ploy plotted by his own fiancé. His fiancé was a genius too, albeit not as devilish or lucky as him.

Thinking that she could reign supreme if she had the Xing Luo's White Dragon Bone Frame. Thus, she mustered up all of her belongings, including selling the deed to her clan to hire Roaring River Pavilion to kill the Mc's clan and capture him for her own use.

With the help of the pavilion master, she extracted the White Dragon Bones out of the Xing Luo's bone frame before fusing it into her own body. Both felt immeasurable pain but one died with regrets while the other survived with joy and excitement.

After having his unique bone frame extracted from him, his boneless body was thrown to the bottom of Roaring Lake.

"So this is how I die…meeting death without a full corpse to boot." Xing Luo swore to get revenge on his fiancé and Roaring River Pavilion when he reincarnates into his new life.

It was when his boneless body touched the bottom of the lake, the lake began to churn while the moon turned blue. Few breaths later, the entire lake became still again and the moon returned to its soft white glow. But upon closer inspection, a blue orb of light flew out of the lake and into the night sky.

That blue orb of light was actually Xing Luo's soul. The mystical phenomenon of Roaring Lake actually managed to preserve his soul and let it live on without having a body. The blue glow of the soul came from the glow of the blue moon which contained the art of soul cultivation and its profound mysteries.

Upon finding out he wasn't dead, the ecstatic Xing Luo, albeit without a body, quickly followed the steps of the soul cultivation art and began cultivating his soul to a point where he could rebuild his body and take revenge upon his killers.

3 years later…

Roaring River Pavilion announced to the world that their heir, Roaring River Prince, was getting married with a peerless genius called Yin Phoenix Princess of Yin Beast Kingdom. The Yin Phoenix Princess was said to be born with dual bone frames, the royal family's defining Yin Phoenix Bone Frame fused with White Dragon Bones, the defining bones of the White Dragon God of the supposedly destroyed White Dragon Brigade.

It was at this time that Xing Luo had already rebuilt a new body for himself and was out treasure hunting in Dragon Slope when he too heard the news. Despite swearing to get revenge on his fiancé , he decided to ignore this event and continued to build up his own strength in preparation for his revenge.

Another 10 years later….

Xing Luo had finally gathered enough power before making his dao debut to the world as Roaring Moon Emperor, the sole survivor of White Dragon Brigade. He then swore to the heavens that he'd take revenge on Yin Beast Kingdom and Roaring River Pavilion for destroying his clan.

By then, Roaring River Pavilion and Yin Beast Kingdom had already merged into the Roaring Beast Alliance, a behemoth that controlled tens of thousands of smaller sects and kingdoms. When they heard the news, the alliance leader along with his wife merely laughed it off, saying that the Mc would only be courting death if he were to really attack their alliance. The wife was even more in disbelief because she knew he didn't even have bones when he was thrown into Roaring Lake.

6 months later…

The alliance was holding a celebratory event for the alliance leader's wedding anniversary with his wife. It was in a festive mood for 7 days straight. No guards were present since everyone believed that no one was bold enough to attack their alliance in the first place, and boy were they wrong!

It was on the night of the 7th day of the wedding anniversary that disaster struck. Since everybody was in a festive mood still, no one noticed the arrival of millions of masked men along with tens of thousands of ferocious beasts. By the time the alliance realized they were being besieged, it was already too late.

The alliance fell in one night with the alliance leader dying into a bloody mist. His wife however was captured by the attacking army's leader, Roaring Moon Emperor. Even with her Yin Phoenix Bone Frame and White Dragon Bones, the alliance leader's wife was still easily suppressed by her ex-fiancé.

Eyes filled with terror and dread, she was forced to watch her parents and loved ones have their bone frames extracted from them before getting eaten by beasts. Roaring Moon Emperor was brutal with his methods, even the young and old were subjected to the same torture and death. He killed his ex-fiancé after that by chopping her into a million pieces.

Just as the sun rose in the east, the Roaring Beast Alliance was destroyed while our mc, Roaring Moon Emperor went on to make a name for himself as the Roaring Beast Butcher. He proceeded to remain single for the remainder of his days since he couldn't trust women anymore.
