Dreams and Ambitions
The Bright Republic, to many of its citizens, it's a nation of democracy, freedom and honour, for generations countless Brighter bravery fight and sacrifice to protect their ideals against the Vesia Kingdom's aggression. From the original novel, Kira already knew this is just a facade, even the Bright-Vesia wars that happen every 30 years were the result of the Bright Republic and Vesia Kingdom to replicate the New Rubarth Empire's Societal Vitality Theory to get rid of outdated war assets, trial ground for future leaders, curb excess and useless mech designers, toughen up their mech pilots and hopefully getting more expert mech pilots.
Knowing is one thing, but to actually witness all this internal competitions that affect even little kids really open Kira's eyes. In the shadow, The Five, The Twelve and other powerful families secretly control the Republic, those families already grown so big and they held almost every important positions in the government, military, public and private economic sectors.
With technology advancement the average life expectancy of human is now more than 100 years, and even much higher in 2nd and 1st rate states or if one can afford life prolonging treatments. One such example is Camden Tovar, the head of house Tovar and the Bright Republic's Senator For Life, who once held 4 presidency terms, even though he is already 280 years old, he still hold much power in both house Tovar and the Republic. With most of the big families' prominent members living so long and they keep on producing so many descendants many troubles arise, which ones should be groom to be come the families next leaders? which ones are useful to the families? which ones worth investing in? The internal competitions are cut-throat and they even start from little kids that barely know anything.
The kids in Class Es or even Ds are in such precarious situations, they either rise up to gain more attentions and investments from their families or to be forgotten and become stepping stones for other more promising members of their own families.
'Their families' internal competitions should be so damn crazy to make these kids burning with such dreams and ambitions. From what i know, that would make them easier to awake spirituality potential. Jackpot, there should be a lot of similar kids like them here. At first i just want to focus on improve myself using the system, but to think i can actually find a lot of potential recruits here, and they are still kids and easy to manipu....*cough* to guide them to proper path. Well, i'm saving them from their dooms and give them chances to realize their dreams and ambitions.'
"So you guys must have many cousins and siblings studying here?"
"Of course, don't know about others, but there are members of my house in every classes of every grades, actually there are 2 in this class too, Patrick and Patricia Cavendish, they are twin. Their father hold a small position in the Logistic department of the Ministry of Defense."
"One word of caution for you Kira, since you are new to all this." -Tiesto speak up - "Don't get close to those in Class A, they are really snobbish and arrogant and love to flaunt how they will be the next leaders of their families and our state. Just hearing a word from them make me want to beat them up."
"Woooaaaa i can't believe you are that fierrrrrceeee Tiesto. Luckily i don't have any relatives in class A. They can't be that baddddddd righhhhtt?" - Kron act exaggerating again
"You will be the next after them if you don't shut up."
'No wonder Sarah don't want to become this kid friends, and i don't really care about those Class A kids, only those struggling and have big ambitions will have it easier to awake their sprituality.'
"Ahahaha, i don't have any cousin in this class but there's some in other classes too. I have to agree with Tiesto, those in class B and C aren't that bad though, and Class D are similar to us so we can be friendly to them." - Valerius.

"Attention! You kids can have more time to get acquaintance later. Today is your first day so there will be no class, but remember starting from tomorrow you will have phys-ed and etiquette classes in the morning, it's very important for future prominent members of society to have good health and proper etiquette. In the afternoon will be other classes like math, physic, literature, history, galaxy geography etcetera. Now dismiss!"
"Let's go grab some snacks and explore the school afterward." - Valerius suggest.
"I'll invite my cousins too. HEYYY PATRICK, PATRICIA, GO TO THE CAFETERIA WITH US."

Later in the cafeteria of Grade 1 building.
Patrick and Patricia Cavendish's group sat down with Kira's. Just like their cousin, both of them have wavy red hair and fierce, upright looks.
"Hey there, i'm Patrick Cavendish and my twin sister Patricia, we are Sarah's cousin and this is our Group 6."
"Francesco Ramzi." - Francesco is a quiet looking kid with buzz cut.
"Hey man, don't be shy like that, you are a Ramzi bro." - a smart looking and friendly kid with dark brown hair speak up.
"Hello everyone, i'm Angelo Totti. My parents are both doctors. My father is recently promoted to Vice Ministry of Health, while my mother is head researcher of Pizian Pharma Inc, hence why i have the chance to admission to this school. I'm expected to follow their footsteps."
"Tsk."
"You could try to be more friendly Francesco. Hey, i'm Mikael Tovar, and i'm this mute's childhood friend. What with those surprise look? Why can't a Ramzi and Tovar become friends? The higher rank of our families may hurt each other to death but low rank cannon fodder like us... hehehe. Our parents all work in Ministry of Internal Affairs, that's why we grew close to each others. It's our dreams to rise the rank and make both the Tovar and Ramzi bow to us."
'Can't believe i'm making friends with so many Cavendish and Ramzi today, such irony. Ministry of Internal Affairs is it, given what i knew about the Ramzi and Tovar, Francesco and Mikael's parents should be working for Spotlight, the Bright Republic's domestic Intelligence Agency. This is such a great harvest, given how those big families work, these kids would be expected to follow their parents footsteps, to think i can start making connect with various organizations just like this.'

After they had their meals, Kira and the kids start visiting other locations of their school, with the other grade's buildings are off-limit and they only have limited access to the central building. The training rooms, infirmary and cafeteria are all the best the Republic can offer which can make any Mech Divisions drooling.
The training rooms are fitted with quasi 2nd rated training equipments that help rising physical properties, virtual simulators for mech pilot training - which is the most famous pieces of equipment with many kids taking turn using even when they don't have their genetic test yet, it's not hurt to get head start training, after all that's not real neural interface so there will be no danger.
The infirmary also fitted with quasi 2nd rated equipment that can quickly heal almost any injuries or sickness, it also provide some special bath that help quickly alleviate fatigue after training. If the same equipments are given to the many Mech Regiments and Divisions then the casualties in previous wars would be cut down by half, such is unfairness of life.
The cafeteria provide exclusive meals rich with nutrition that's helpful for growth, just one meal would cost 50.000 Bright Credits multiply with 600 kids and 3 meals per day or 90 millions credit daily which cost as much as 2 premium 3rd class mechs.
The library is built in classic design with rows of shelves for physical books and designed wooden reading tables to provide high class environment, while the virtual versions are available in students' personal learn stations in their dorm room.
'Such extravagant spending and they are only 3rd rater, i can't fathom how it is for the 2nd rater and 1st rater. Well, this is useful for me though. Can't let this chance gone wasted.'
Kira decided to try do some training, once he get tired after 2 hours he tried out the fatigue bath in the infirmary which made him feel very comfortable. Once he's back to his room after dinner, he start reading some more virtual books and made Valerius cried out in surprise and admiration how hard working he is.
'Can't believe i can do that much training and reading without feeling tired at all, is this the effect of increasement in endurance? I should check my stat before i call it a night.'

'My Strength and Endurance increased by 0.1 each just from few meals and 2 hours of training. This is great, i should save up my RP for now. The book i read was "Introduction to Energy Weapon" but its name was converted to [Basic Energy Weapon 3rd-rate] by the system, it seem these books are automatically sorted into their respective groups, i wonder what will happen when i read more books about the same topic. And books not related to technology are grouped into General knowledge and there is no classification rate for them. I gained 40 RP, so these General knowledge books only give 10 RP each.'
